Weekend Trivia -- Saturday

Happy weekend, dear cottagers. It's good to be back in the trivia saddle again.

Now that the grilling season is here for us northerners, I am wondering if you know who first manufactured charcoal briquettes. Here are some hints. The manufacturing plant was built around 1920 in Kingsford, Michigan, and was built to use up sawdust and other wood scraps from another plant that manufactured wood pieces for use in yet another Michigan plant. The owner of these plants was well known for controlling every aspect in the production of the things he sold.

Any guesses?
