over winter my cutting?

filix

I took some cuttings from my sweet autumn C. this past spring. All died but one. And that one is doing great. I potted it up two months ago. It had some nice roots. I grew it in some kind of a bonsi mix that I made. So I kept it in the same stuff in the new pot. I don't want to let it freeze now, it's growing to well. Since this clem will grow in south florida, it can't need to go too dormant? Right? I have been keeping it in my unheated garage at night. It has been in the upper 30s in the garage. But it will be getting much colder soon "a month or so". I was thinking, when it starts getting real cold out there I could bring it in a shed that is atached to my heated house. I could keep it up against the heated wall. In my mind it would be like spending a winter in zone 7 instead of 5. What do you think? thanks. filix
