Weekend Trivia -- Saturday

Happy weekend, everyone. After moaning about the weather last week, things have turned around big time, and I'm doing the dance of spring now. We actually had one day in the seventies this week, and things are greening up nicely. I cleaned out my garden beds and actually smelled the aroma of nice clean dirt. This is twice as nice for me, as my sense of smell has dwindled to pretty much zilch most of the time, though it surprises me every now and then.

Do you like dog quotes? Here are a few I like.

- Don't accept your dog's admiration as conclusive evidence that you are wonderful. (Ann Landers)

- A door is what a dog is perpetually on the wrong side of. (Ogden Nash)

- Did you ever walk into a room and forget why you walked in? I think that's how dogs spend their lives. (Sue Murphy)

And for today's trivia question, can you guess what famous writer, who lived from 1835 - 1910, gave us this quote?

- If you pick up a starving dog and make him prosperous, he will not bite you. This is the principal difference between a dog and a man.

Hope you all are having a good weekend.
