WOW almost as many pictures as I got years on my shoulders roflmao

GOOOOOOOOOD morning everyone.

My day started out great. I slept in under the warm covers of my bed lol. Rude awakening when daughter called me at 6am and my first thought was...%&%"# my picture of the day.

Needless to say the conversation was real short lol and trying to wake up my PC and work with me has been a effort to make it here and not loose my peace lol

I hope everyone got up with the right foot lol and will have a great day. It is so hard writing this when you sit here and watch the news and weather report at the same time.

It is ALL of what you make it!

Stay safe and today I share part of my Family with you.

Still trying. The windows and programs are all taking 4FR to load. I do not have a great feeling about this. It all started yesterday. I hope I did not get a virus :-(

Lucy! So is this the Golden Anniversary of the picture of the day? Congratulations on this milestone. And thank you for always taking the time to show how much you care about your GW friends! Your babies are just beautiful.

Theresa I think that would look super in your bathroom!!! Daniella when you see them in real life..they just take your breath away! My daughter in Orlando even loves it so much, that she thinks it will make great teachers gifts ;-) As to ALL my seedlings...especially the vines ...they are climbing up my curtains roflmao. SPRING where are you?? The 2 year castor bean plant I have outside in the corner is again starting to get new leaves. This is so amazing. I will have a castor bean jungle this year lol Eloise thanks. But come back tomorrow and you all get to meet my 2 grandsons. Got permission from my daughter today to post a picture :-) Barb I take orders lol...going to try to bring some nice plants back...hope that place where they came from is open on that Saturday!!! Bob............oh Bob you know you are so lucky to be right there in Florida and get to live with them year round! I hope they will do well and ohhhhhhhhh ohhh guess what? I could not believe my eyes when I looked at them today and saw that the Tillandsia Stricta , the white flower...is getting little purple growth out of each spike? !!!Got to take a update picture and post it here!! Kristy they are, they are! You mean you got some too? Kristy...I am taking orders for you too roflmao. I sure hope that I get to visit a GOOD nursery. Japanese Beetles 30-50 days???? NOT.

An adult Japanese Beetle will only live about 30 days. Others will develop, however, over a few weeks time and those are what you see. Interpreting the life span of one beetle as meaning all of them and that the plants might be safe after 30 days indicates a failure to actually understand what is written.

Is 53 at night, high 50's day 'good enough'?

I worry about the rain with the cold temps. I don't think the plants will do any growing outside in that type of weather and might just rot. 50F at night is OK if you have 70s-80s during the day.

On my 50th my daughter Carri had a surprise birthday for me. I thought we were going out to eat. We had to stop at their house to get them....the lights were dim...I didn't have a clue. My oldest daughter and her four little ones (at the time) had come home from Minn. Carri had them hid there at her house for two days... When I walked into the dinning room they turned on the light and my grandbabies all came running to hug me and wish me Happy Birthday...of course I started crying. I don't remember what we did after that...if we had cake or supper or anything... Just remember being surprised by those little ones I was missing. Was a great birthday. The one that was just a baby is now 16....WOW I'm getting old...I'm about to celebrate another one. patti

WOW! I got up so groggy today and had to rush out early to work and completley forgot about the potd! How could I do that on such a special day (50 pics!) and a pic of cats!! I love cats! I can't have any right now as I have two greyhounds, but I always used to have them and really miss them. Although my two girls are very special and I love them to pieces.

Just getting to the post, which I usually do early in the AM. Know everyone had a wonderful day today. Yesterday, it was stormy, cold, windy and raining, but today the sun was out -- go figure! I am sure those people that were out shopping yesterday (I was out early, but the weather wasn't too bad then), wished they had waited until today!
