Need ID please

Hello,

Recently I acquired several plants that are unfamiliar to me.

Some, I can guess at, but have not really identified. These two are complete unknowns to me. For all I know, they may be weeds.

Would appreciate any help.

First is a blue-green succulent that is about the size of your little finger. This picture is confusing because there is a lot of trash in the pot. The plant I am interested in has two small leaves growing from the top.

The second one grows in sections that are each from 2 to 4 inches long. Each section has 4 prominent ribs, and each of the sides is concave. There is a three lobed leaf where some of the sections join.

These are probably the most common plants on earth, but I have no idea what they are.

#2 I have out in the greenhouse and will need to look it up. It may be Cissus quadrangularis I didn't look it up. Norma

Hi Norma,

The 2nd pic IS Cissus quadrangularis, not sure abt the 1st one which has other plants in it also!

The second plant looks like Sedum Angellina. They like lots of sun. Thé first might be a Penstemon or Salvia. A better close up of the flowers and leaves would help.

The first is Senecio articulata.

the first is senecio articulatis

and i vote the second one to be Cissus cactiformis, rather than C. quadrangularis (see leaf shape).

Thank you all very, very much. I don't believe I would have ever found those genera names. I guess I have led a sheltered "garden" life.

Ming what is the difference between the leaf shape on the Senecio and the Cissus. I need to find out which one I really have. I always used the marking coming down on the stems to know the difference. Please help. I have both species. Norma
