Evergreen vs. Sweet Autumn Clematis

I am a little confussed. Evergreen clematis (armandii)and Sweet Autumn (Texensis)keep coming up on nursery sites as the same. It is my understanding that the evergreen blooms in Spring and Sweet A. in the fall. Also S.A. is only evergreen in the warmer climates. Why do the nurseries sell them as one plant. Am I totally wrong about what I "think" I know? Anyone know of a good source for the Evergreen (Armandii)? Chalk Hill is out of it.
