I have no experience whatsoever, but it intrigues me. Anything that can thrive in that harsh climate is worthy of admiration. I hope it does well for you.

They have thorns like a pin cushion and are not what I would consider edible. Nice novelty though.

Wow. It seems to be the "hot" citrus in all the foodie magazines. Lots of recipes and suggestions how to use them. I am going to be very disappointed if it is "not edible".

Finger Limes are very edible......I grew them while living in Australia and they are wonderful.....

I have a current question, I bought numerous different citrus trees to grow in containers this year. All but the finger lime and the yuzu have at least flowered so far this spring and summer. Do finger limes take longer than average to mature? It is about 3 feet tall and has a decent canopy so I would have expected some flowers at least. Thanks in advance!

You bought them this year, you live in zone 2? It's possible they were pruned more than the others.

Yep they arrived in May/June and grew quite a bit of new foliage over the summer. I will be bringing them into my grow room soon as the temps are starting to drop. I am hoping it will flower inside this fall!
