Ok Jan Slama, Clement, and Bluespruce!!

My new friend and champion broom finder scored 4 of his 7 brooms and here are us.

Picea #1 (abies) I named for my father, 'Chillin' Phil', loose, approximately 3" growth per year or less. Many of the scions I cut were very dense though and those only are the ones I passed along.

Picea 'Brent Douglas' named for Keith's late brother(abies) very dense, 1" miniature conifer, beautiful form; broom looks like Picea abies 'Witches' Brood' Excellent! (left) - (right) Picea abies 'Sherrie' after my mother. Excellent! 1-1.5-2" per year - another miniature/dwarf.

All Picea brooms from Warsaw, IL.

Pinus strobus (Keokuk, Iowa) - not as dense. wants to go upright. growth 4" per year. miniature cones adorn it. The cones are a litle under 1" long. Appears to be wider than tall.

Brooms are being sent to nurseries.
