Group 1's for Georgia?

I am interested in adding adding some Alpinas and a Montana to my 7b garden in Georgia. (Not planting now--it was 100 degrees yesterday and the same is forecast for today.) I want the Montana on the east side of the house. A Princess Diana does well now on that side of the house but the proposed location for the Montana would not get quite as much sun as Diana does; astilbes, baptisia, and foxglove thrive and bloom well in this location proposed for the Montana.

I want the Alpinas on a trellis wall which faces west and gets several hours of very intense late afternoon sun, although it is in part shade from trees behind the fence and south of it for much of the day. Autumn clematis, Red Cascade rose, and New Dawn rose thrive on the fence. Akebia thrives there as well, although some of the leaves look heat-bleached now. I am especially interested in the gold-leaved Alpina Stolwijk Gold.

I am also interested in Miss Bateman in either or both sites.

Is there hope for these plants in these locations? Any other suggestions, advice?

Thanks for any help--
