My goodness you can spend days looking at all the photographs of these little jewels. I found more than a few that I would love to have a cutting of. (grin)

"Carla35 just wants to justify her man's behavior" You are so totally misunderstanding my opinion. That is not the case at all. I am happy to say that my husband is a smart enough man to be able to hide his possible porn viewing from me. He is also smart enough to never tell me any pants make my butt look big! Some guys just get it. I do not have any facts that would suggest my husband views porn; and it is not an issue in our marriage. I only know that he probably has from time to time because he is a typical male. I have never seen a playboy in the house, found a sex video or noticed a computer history with sites... One time he did pause longer than usual at the Miss Universe Contest when switiching through channels though ;-0 I really don't understand how most of you women can not at least understand my opinion or where I am coming from. To think my intent is mean or that I have a porn addicted husband so imagine everyone else must too... is just so way off base. Oh and this post quote right here... "Women that can't satisfy a man just can't help but try to trash everyone else!" is just mean, not to me.. (because you aren't reading my opinion/situation correctly) but it is mean to those women whose husbands are addicted to porn. I would like to state that I have an entirely different opinion than cuddlepoo has and I think she is totally wrong. If your husband has a real porn addiction problem, it is most probably NOT your fault and NOT linked to you not being able to satisfy your man which so many woman sadly believe. Your husband (or even wife, if they are the one with the porn habit) has a real problem; it's not because you are fat or not attractive enough, etc. So please don't take what that poster said to heart and think that your man is viewing porn because you are unable to satisfy them. and p.s. I have never said or suggested that every man cheats on his wife. Are people assuming viewing porn is cheating???? I personally do NOT think most men have affairs or cheat on their wives, and I'm pretty darn sure my husband has never cheated on me. Porn viewing and having an affair are very different in my book.

Bwahahahhhaaa! Okay, I think AuntJen's post has given me significant willies! The trouble is not so much with the sofa itself, which I truly think I could incorporate into my living room, but rather the issue is that I would then have to find some sort of loveseat or 2 club chairs. We have *just* enough seating for our family of 5 as it is, and if we got rid of our current couches (which I HATE) and replaced one with the CL couch, we'd still be short on seating, and then I'd have the task of trying to find complementary seating. I love it, but I'm going to have to pass on it for all of the extra work it would take to furnish the living room around that one piece.

Yeah Marian, You sure do have good taste!I have a cutting of Day Dream & Creamsickle That I'm babying along. I'll keep you in mind when I can cut them.

Mike, I just received the DD cutting 2 days ago. It had plenty of nubbies and leaf nodes, so I cut it in half & planted it.Looks good so far.I haven't lost a cutting yet!I better not curse myself!LOL

Since I started with my NOIDs this spring, I've spent hours and hours reading and looking at pictures and lusting after these beauties. Thank goodness we have each other to swap with or we could spend thousands on our addiction!

Yes Mike, I'm new to Brugmansia. I laid eyes on my first one October 6th at the ladies house that was in charge of the AIS here. I must say they were stunning and I knew at first glance I had to get me some of them. How I got to be as old as I am and never saw one is beyond me. I"ve been a plant and gardening nut all my life. YOu would think I would have been exposed to them somewhere along the way.

Now all I can think about is getting a bunch of them planted everywhere on my place.

I like all of them, but some just stand out a little more than others. I wouldn't mind planting the rest of this place in them. Well then I wouldn't know how to keep up the place, I can just see me out there with the push mower at my age trying to mow aound 35 acres of BRUGMANSIA....LOL

The Flame is very pretty but it doesn't look much different then many of the double peach varieties to me. I should be doing good with Day Dreams next season. Someone was nice enough to send me two good cuttings for postage a month ago. Not long after I dropped by a friend's house and she gave me a couple huge cuttings from her DD. All of them have rooted, I just don't have the room to pot them now.

I'll have plenty of room outside for DD once the weather warms! I should have lots of cuttings available next fall though : ) I made a lasagna bed that I planted with annuals and perennials this year. Everything is nice and decomposed now with lots of rich soil so next season I think I'm just going to fill it with pink and white double brugs.

Hey Karyn, it must be nice to have someone willing to send you TWO cuttings of Day Dreams and then just happen to have a friend share some more cuttings of their Day Dreams with you. I'm so darn jealous of all of you.

I guess I'm just going to have to become better at requesting cuttings of peoples BRUGS....ok all you wonderful people out there who have shared your little darlings with me....please make sure the next time we trade anything you send me at least 2 cuttings of everything so I'll have some to trade for others. Duh, did that even make sense? I didn't think so.

Karyn, that daydream is so darn purdy I'd kick the kids out of the house to make room for one of those.LOL Thank goodness my kids are grown or they would be looking for a new place to hang their coats (well that is if it ever gets cold here) LOL

Make sure you put me at the top of the list. Don't let those fellows push granny to the back of the pack.

Mike, you get behind me or else I'm gonna tell Santa your not being nice.

Off to look and dream about some more of these Brugs.

Believe me, I was thrilled when someone sent me an email and said that she had DD for postage. I'd forgotten that I'd responded when she first mentioned that she would have some. As for the others I had no idea that my friend had a DD in her yard. When I went over there she was in the process of cutting the brugs back and offered them to me.
