Sorry, I've never seen this problem before, but I'd guess that watering this twice a week is too much water. I'd back off the water to about once every week to 10 days depending. I also think this plant needs more direct light (added gradually).

Hard to see but in the lower right corner, the new growth if that's it, isn't supposed to be tall. If that's its pup, it's stretched out for the light.

2 of the leaves on mine did the same, and I think its snails that did account for my issue, point is that something injured the tips. Mine is in full sun. I do not think they suffer from leaf tip die-back like the maculated aloes and in any case that is usually in winter.

As for the new growth - seems you need little more sun. Your watering seems ok as long as you let it dry between waterings. They just do not like wet muchy soil - roots suffocate.

does look like physical trauma (damaged from moving, or from snails). Aloes also suffer leaf tip necrosis from lack of water in summers, but Aloe nobilis is not one of the species I normally see that in.

My sister's cat chewed the tips of several leaves on my plant,
and the results were very similar (from what I can tell from the unclear pic).

That's one tasty aloe

Mine was doing the same thing, I cut back on the water, also Aloe Vera will make a cat sick. It wont kill them, but they will get sick.
