I don't do Facebook myself. Just went there to check out your plants. Very nice plants....... saw a few ,then it says sign in or else. Needless to say ,it booted me off.

Wow, those are really cool plants! I really like the plant in the first two pictures of the album "August 15, 2011." What kind of plant is that?

They are Adenium, likely A.obesum. There are many many cultivars of these plants, grown for their caudexes and big, beautiful flowers. They are also known as Desert Rose.

I'm curious - why post the pictures on Facebook only? That seems to limit one's audience, no?

It took me a long time to figure out how to link Photobucket to this forum. I don't know if you already know this, but click on the Forum tab at the top and you get a list of Forums. At the bottom of this list in fine print there is a link to a "test" forum where you can test/practice making inserting photos using fake posts.

Write your message. Go to Photo Bucket. Click on the photo you want to post. On the right hand side of the Photo Bucket screen there will be a box that says "Share this photo" and click on "HTML" and it will copy the photo correctly for this Board.

When you paste it in this message box, it will be in type. When you preview the message, it will be a photo.

I flubbed up a zillion times before I figured out how easy it was. I was using the wrong format etc.

It's not the importing from photobucket that's the problem, it's getting it from my computer to photobucket. For some reason, none of them upload, they never have. I've posted on here with photobucket with no problem before, but with pics uploaded to photobucket from my cellphone only. In any case, there's more than 200 pictures in the link and seeing as how this forum doesn't allow multiple pages per post (hint hint if big brother is watching...) I cant post all on here at once. I'll figure it out one way or another. I think I'll try to upload them from a friends computer.

Actually, I just realized that I wasn't looking at the first two pictures in the album, but actually the 7th and 8th pictures of "August 15, 2011" photo album. Could anyone tell me what kind of plant that is please?

I don't know myself, I got it from wally world for 7 or 8 bucks I think. When I went to repot it, it had such a shallow root system it nestled perfectly in this thrift store pot. I've had a couple of blooms since then, yellow. I'll try to catch a pic next time. Here's a few shots right after I had repotted it.
