The people responsible for approving memberships and adding the ability to join certain forums have very busy lives outside of HT. They get to it as quickly as possible. Members don't have to be logged in to read, only to respond. I don't bother logging in unless I have something to say. There's a big difference between HT and GW. HT is privately owned. Two very busy people do the best they can and don't earn a penny for their efforts. GW is owned by iVillage where people are paid to run this forum. They both provide great services to us for free.

I was wondering how long long t would be before this was spotted, lol! Lee Seats contacted me a few weeks back and asked permission to link to my site and the seed offer and I said yes. The article release is perfect for Earth Day. WS embraces many pro earth ideologies. We recycle, we don't use energy to germinate, we don't leave a carbon footprint and we actually will offset carbons by germinating and growing hardwoods and many other plants, we grow plants that provide nectar, food and shelter to critters, many of us grow salad gardens and reduce our food bills. Earth Day and Winter Sowing go hand in hand. I've been busy the past couple of weeks packing up seeds for this release. I am going to be very, VERY busy with filling SASEs. Sorry about the snake pics ladies! I feel that way too about several things on there....ugh. Never want to see pictures of RATS either....lol. But I truly thought that site was great. I spent a long time looking through it trying to figure out what kinds of wild trees or shrubs keep coming up in my yard. And I learned a lot about catapillars from there and other sights yesterday so I won't kill so many butterflies from now on. I hope I have not killed many ever! I have not seen so many of those kinds really....but moth cats, larvae and pupa have been plentiful. I will be referring to that sight often...it is so informative! I was just amazed to come across something so thorough as that one is. G.M.
