This works so well that you will think why did I plant so many seeds this spring. One note on the tomato seedlings keep a close eye on those jugs once they sprout they will need extra protection on those nights that go under 32 degrees, my rule of thumb has been 36 degrees and under they get a towel tossed over the jugs at night and as april goes on with so many jugs they go in a unheated garage/hay trailer for the night. Platsic does not buy you a lot cold protection but towels and blankets do. I use old horse blankets for this too. ML who has been "Riding the wave of green north.!" since 2005

Where do I start?? I love your colorful, cheerful, fun laundry!! I could never have envisioned those tiles laid. and painting the cabinets just made a night and day difference. Then you went above and beyond with the wall treatment--love it!! Beautiful house, beautiful boys! Must also comment on your finger. Was it diagnosed as arthritis or is that just an assumption? I ask because it sounds like my middle finger. I developed a "trigger finger" after a project that required much repetitive motion. If so, it is treatable. Thinking of you and your little one and will be watching for more pics of your projects! Liz

w/ a tall coffee pot, deep would be good--don't go shallower than 7". And get a faucet that goes up, but NOT back down, so you can get the coffee put under the spigot easily. My suggestion, take the coffee pot to Home Depot or somewhere and look at some sink depth and widths. A narrower sink will leave you less room to maneuver around an intrusive faucet. So the lower your faucet reaches toward the sink, the wider a sink you need.

I went to the doctor's today and I'm going to tell you what I told her. One of the bad things about getting old, is the fact that we tend to blame everything on getting old. Sometimes that's not the cause. Ten years ago I didn't seem to have the stamina that I use to have but I did a lot of entertaining and lots of other social commitments plus the regular chores so I blamed it on getting older. When I went out walking with friends, I got out of breath and blamed it on a sedentary winter and had to build up my stamina. Suddenly I was getting unfamiliar "twinges" in my chest when I was walking uphill. Discussed it with my doctor who then scheduled a stress test. After getting the results, she recommended seeing a cardiologist. Angiogram, angioplasty following. Three blocked arteries, one 90 percent, one 80 percent and the other just beginning to get blocked. Several weeks after the procedure I was like a new person. Ten years later and several years of complaining about losing my stamina, not sleeping well and difficulty breathingâ¦.completely different symptoms although I've been thinking heart, I stopped taking several medications and am feeling 100 percent better than I had been, though not 100 percent better. I am in the process of checking out the heart, not going to blame everything on medications. I'm not suggesting that anyone has heart disease or problems with medications. What I am suggesting is to do a thorough investigation with your doctor, and rule out the possibility of something other than "getting old". Four years ago at age 73, I was walking 5 miles a day, 7 days a week. Than it went down to 3 miles several days a week. Three months ago I would get up in the morning, come into the family room, sit down in front of the T.V. and sit there all day unless I had a luncheon, movie, bridge or whatever obligation to fulfill. One night I realized that some of the symptoms were similar to an experience I had with a medication many years agoâ¦..an aha moment. I stopped taking several of my medications until I get to the root cause, my mental state started getting better, as did my breathing, sleeping and energy level. I started walking again and am walking 4 miles. I still have some shortness of breath and have a stress test scheduled in 10 days. Just something to think about.
