Too many pop-ups

Too many pop-up ads here on Gardenweb. I have Adblock plus and just got a Javascript one that blocks the forums from opening, but does not block the pop-up ads. I give up.
If anyone wants to chat about gardening, I hope to see you over at Iris Lovers page on Facebook.

I agree...I'm gone also....They've pretty much strangled the site.......

No no no! Download freeware Opera. I never get pop-ups here.

I have really overdone it this year! I had some time off this winter and by the end of February I got the itch so bad that I couldn't help but get some seed started. I am in zone 4 and my last frost isn't until the middle of May. You can imagine how big my tomatoes are at this moment(9 inches) and having 2 months to go, how big they will be by the time I can plant them outdoors. I am almost embarrassed, I also started peppers and onions! I have already repotted most and am out of room for anything more, but then I went and planted some broccoli and oregano. I told my husband we will be converting the ping pong table in the basement as the table for the starts because I got my hands on a 1000watt grow light. So now I've got plans to start some basil, cucumbers, pumpkin, marigolds, parsley, calendula and I'm sure more I can't remember. So now I will divulge that I only have 2 15x15 garden plots, one of them half filled with strawberries. I have no idea what I will do with all the starts, I just want to grow them. Oh, and I planted my peas outside already. Yes, there is truly something wrong with me..lol! Maybe I need to move somewhere where the winters aren't so long.

Glad to hear of the (mostly) improvement. In my experience, goldfish can be some of the most difficult fish to keep, despite common perceptions! Besides being very messy, they seem to suffer from physical ailments more often than some more "exotic" fish.

This is the only sight that my pop up blocker doesn,t work on. I wouldn,t mind them but instead of just xing out I have to go totally back off the sight and come back on . The Pantene pop up is acting more like a virus than a add

I know Houzz thought it was cool to be able to post in one of our forums and have it show up in other forums, but I come here for Accessible Gardening, and there's hardly any posts on here about that anymore. I don't like that I have to go through lots of other forum posts. Just sayin'.........

Ack!!!!!! Renee, no, no!!!! Gypsy, guys, don't leave!! I have Firefox installed with Adblock Plus installed. ZERO pop up ads. Works perfectly!

No no no, you can't leave. I haven't had many lately and I don't have anything special installed.
Now on cnn I get them that stay and stay about 10 seconds, no way to close them, then it finally swipes itself away in rows. Very annoying

Its not Garden Web. You have malware. Install Malwarebytes for free and it roots out some very mean malware. I would guess you have either something called veribytes- an ad malware,or something like that.

I have no popups whatsoever on Safari on my Mac. None.

Eh,every now and then Firefox says it blocked an add on GW. But nowhere nears the amount of Renee's.
Try the malwarebytes. You could have a few trojans on the PC.

I don't get any pop ups at all and I don't have anything special that I know of,then again,dh takes care of all that computer stuff for me.

Oh yeah I do have malwarebytes, maybe thats why I'm not getting them.

I have firefox, but no clue if I have adblock. Got a couple today, just clicked off. Frustrating. Do NOT leave! I don't even grow Irises... yet!! :-))
