Pictures of my citrus finally!
Comments (39)Hello Everyone, Sorry it took me so long with posting these pics but I could not find my battery charger. Well it has been about five months since I got this beautifull tree. I am constantly amazed at how this tree surprises me. Up to about 2 weeks ago, I had two crops of lemons on it. I was worried that I wasn't going to get any new branch growth but surprise, surprise! Not only did I get some new branch growth but I also got a bunch of flower buds and now they have opened and the tree has set more fruits! I really enjoy this lemon. Some people thought I was crazy to invest into such an expensive meyer lemon tree but I am glad I did. I now have around a hundred or so lemons on the tree. Comments (4)Where are you located? Must be somewhere near me. I'm in Alachua County and we had some crazy temperature swings here in late Feb and early March. One of my trees has also lost its leaves and I was thinking the temp. swings could have been a factor, though some here say it could be root rot. Citrus doesn't like temp. fluctuations. Did you have the wild swings from 80 to freezing and back over a few days?...See More5 new additions to my sweet citrus collection
Comments (3)Pip Yes To date I have yet to get anything other than PT or Kuharske to root. I am currently working on sweetlee Tangerines. The cutting above is the second of 7 rooting cuttings to fail so I hydrated it and grafted it to Kuharske. If 2 or more of my US897/lemonade trees works I'll send you one as long as I have one for my self....See MoreIt's my day for trying new citrus - Australian finger lime -red
Comments (6)I think there are so many varieties out there but since even Logees changed the add, I doubt this little tree is a finger lime but just red lime with more ornamental value. Looking forward to hear how the others will taste when they get ripe....See Moresuzannesks
