Hi mamcc, The double purple daturas are only hardy to zone 9a. They are quite easily started from seed though and now would be a good time to sow or winter sow them. I see you do not have any seeds listed on your trade list, but you might try trading for them at the Seed Exchange, and offer to send some of the small seed baggies in trade if you don't have any seeds available for trading. Honglee, I know it takes a lot of time to collect seed and then thereÂs the trip to the post office but I do it because I enjoy sharing them with other people. I have spent many hours collecting, packing, labeling and mailing bubble envelopes this year. I have mailed almost 50 envelopes in the last few weeks and the only cost was $1.00 for some plastic seed baggies and my time. It is actually against GardenWeb rules to ask for payment for seed and IÂm very surprised your offer hasnÂt been removed and you warned by the powers that be, or worse, banned. If you want to offer seed for postage as your post states all you have to do is email people your address and they will send you a bubble envelope with a return label and return postage inside. When you receive the envelope all you have to do is remove the label and postage from the outside and put the return postage and label on and then mail it. If you want compensation for the time you spend and the trips you have to make to the post office, you might want to try another site where it is allowed. I have actually thought of doing this myself but the enjoyment I get from giving my seed is more important than any money I could make off of them. jim_6b

yupp I was shooting in the direction of his car lol After I went out this morning I indeed saw that this year some of the blooms do not even have ANY LAVENDER in them. This is a ever changing Dat lol I think it has not made up its mind yet what it wants to be when it grows up roflmao Pam actually I THOUGHT we had enough rain last night...just got in from re potting some seedlings and potting up the Brug cuttings that i had in water a few days and finally got time to put em in dirt lol But I did get a few very nice pictures this morning. Not with raindrops but it looks like the dew is covering the whole flower. Very pretty. Tim you should try them. I love them very much. I do however love the HUGE single white Datura. When you walk out at night and in the morning and they are everywhere...they just GLOW Lucy

Izhar, I think mine is in the post office. For whatever reason, the goofy woman didn't bring it to the door. I was gone for nearly 2 weeks. I'll go to the post office tomorrow. Our front door has a sign that says "Dogs on premises" Which they are supposed to know means, Hey there are dogs here, they don't bite, but they are here. Such a dingbat woman! LOL Ah well, I will post again to let you know if that's what is at the post office. ~Tina
