Hey Everyone!! I missed you guys!!!

I'm BaaaaaAAAAck!!!! Had no internet for awhile there, PC had to have an overnight away from home to get fixed up as well. Hopefully all is good now. I missed everyone!! Feels like I have been gone forever!!! I see I have alot of pix to look at and alot of catching up to do.

I hope everyone is doing well, and getting lots of blooms!

I got more frogs last week. Caught a female Southern Leopard Frog, and a baby female Bullfrog. No pics of the lil bullfrog yet, but here are a couple of the others. It's funny cuz the Male Northern Green Frog croaks whenever the dogs bark, we joke and say he's a watch-frog, lol. Makes me so happy when I hear him.

And some other OT pix. Waiting on lotsa brug buds. The rains and winds from Thurs night thru this morn knocked alot off, lost alot of leaves, and some got knocked down and small branches broken off, but no major damage.

The kids named the frogs. My son named the N. green frog 'Trevor'.

9 yr old DD named the baby bullfrog 'Sprinkles'

and the 4 yr old DD named the S. Leopard Frog 'Flashy'

ya know, I promised myself I was just going to come on here real quick to announce I am back online, but now I can't leave, lol! So much to read and catch up on! Ack..I have housework to do! & I have to go to the grocery store! Just...can't...tear...myself...away lol

Gina, My heart goes out to you. I hope you find some comfort in knowing that I have been in the exact same place as you before and it will not last forever. You'll have moments where you feel the world will go on turning and you'll stop and realize that you were just laughing and enjoying life. What everyone else has written is right, you should try to reach out to people around you but I do understand that that may be hard to do with other 17 year olds. You have already started by reaching out on this blog and I hope you feel listened to and supported by me. I lost my dad when I was 10 and I just recently lost my mom. I know that it aches and it hurts and it feels there is no way to fill the hole in your chest. But just cry, write, talk, and feel it. I promise it will start to get easier, it will just take time. Try to find a good outlet for your feelings, this may be one of them (running has helped me a lot, drinking or numbing out in other ways does not). My thoughts are with you. I'm lending you strength from afar. Post again if you'd like to keep a conversation going. ((((((((hugs)))))))))

Thanks Eloise. The surgery is actually firmly scheduled, by the doctor's office, but they have to send paperwork to Workers Comp and they evidently, as of last Thursday, haven't done it. I'm going to call tomorrow, and if it isn't there, I'm going to call the Dr.'s office and tell them that I expect it Fed Ex'd overnight air, and if it isn't there by Wednesday, I will change doctors. It's unacceptable the way that doctor's staff is. I changed my phone number MONTHS ago, called them and gave them the new one, then checked to make sure it was changed when I went for my next visit, and then they said they didn't have my number, and so we missed a vital communication. I can't understand how they could be so slack, and his patients haven't dumped him yet. I'm sure some have. He's a great doctor, but his staff leaves much to be desired. Kay, unfortunately, the plants I grow, at least most of them, won't grow in the panhandle. Mine are mostly tropicals and subtropicals, and you're going to be in a colder place. Yes, it gets VERY cold in the panhandle. No snow or anything, but temps below freezing, for sure. Sorry about that :(. But thanks for the offer!

Nicki, nothing stays the same. Nothing at all. Everything is constantly undergoing change. First of all, you have got to clear your mind. Stop drinking or using anything for a crutch. Sit quietly and think about the person you want to be. Think about the steps you need to make to be that person. Start small. You have little girls and their minds are like a sponge. Find something you can teach them. Their appreciation and joy in new things will help you. Set aside time every day for them and some for yourself, but don't spend a lot of time worrying about whether other people like you or not, or hanging with people who will bring you down. Don't "party"...whatever that means. If you have to make new friends...then be on the look out for some that are the kind of people you want to be around. Take part in your daughters' activities at school, when work permits. If anyone brings you down...or is a bad influence on you...cut them loose. I had to do that, myself, in order to be at peace. There are always people who have nothing to do but sit around and drink and stir up trouble. I know you are a very pretty girl. I've seen your pictures. There is nothing attractive about a woman who drinks too much. You don't want your children to grow up and remember you as an alcoholic. It's a waste of precious time and money. Nicki, you can change, but you have to start taking care of yourself, and that means putting you and the girls first. It takes a little strength to do that, but it gets easier all the time.

Welcome back... we've missed your cheerful self! The Clematis looks good enough to eat... oh... it looks like you already started! lol. It really is striking. I dig your frogs too. I don't know anything about frogs, but the ones I get in my yard will keep you up half the night! Very cool looking. I'll come back later with some pics. Welcome home.

Welcome back. We missed you and your great pics! That tree looks so pretty with the nicotiana and passie wrapped around it. Ive never seen a nicotiana that tall with pink blooms, just the white ones. The pic of the green tree frog is great. He looks like the master of his garden. lol

Bob, I WISH I had that kinda frog chorus! I would love to have some CoquÃ frogs. LOL, o yeah that clematis is grape flavored, lol. I guess a small tree branch or something flying thru the air got it when it was windy, and clipped a bit off.

Thanks Karyn. I DO like how that looks on the cherry tree, I hope to get the same effect next year. That nicotiana is 'Marshmallow' Starts out white, then turns pink, and then an even darker pink as it ages. Has a light scent as well. I love this one, because you have all 3 colors on the plant at the same time, and it is constantly blooming.

LOL Bonnie, I know...but it was like being kidnapped or something, lol, no communication possible! My phone was even having probs, and was even down for awhile. Thank god there were no emergencies.
I wasn't planning on being gone, I would def let everyone know about that. I was going to go to the library and try to get online there, but with a 4yr old in tow..HAHAHA!!!

ROFLMAO!!!! Kristy, that is too funny! Well, actually once I told John that after I finished the pond, he was comin back to Jersey with me to set my kids straight, he tied me up and threw me in a box and sent me home via Priority Mail, LOL. My back still hurts! :)

Shawn, thanks :) I have so much to catch up on, and only so long I can sit down for at a stretch, that it will prob take me a couple days to get caught up! I saw the "wants" thread, but didnt read it yet..I can't find my 'want' list!! And can only think of a couple off the top of my head. Gotta find that list!!

Welcome back, you've been missed. I know what you felt like not having computer or what's worst, is having a perfectly good computer but no internet. :(

Love the pics and I think it's so cute that the kids named the frogs. Great names too.

Kristy, that's a good idea. I had tried to use my kids' laptops to get on, but the ports are missing. 3 laptops, and not one of them could get on either. ugh.
Gonna have to get somekinda back-up..my comp has crashed on me several times already today. Completely shuts down and restarts on it's own. Lotsa error reports. I wonder if the main problem is Windows XP? Gonna have to maybe uninstall and re-install it. But I don't have the WinXP software to manually download it, and I am scared that if I uninstall it I won't be able to get online to reinstall it. Maybe the comp guy can do it for me. I'll have to give him a call..I just feel bad about bothering him cuz he spent so much time on my comp already, and did alot more than he had to, and he didn't charge us since he's my son's friend's dad. I don't want him to feel like I am taking advantage. what to do, what to do.

Daniella, welcome back! It's so nice to have your wonderful wit back around here! Doesn't sound like you computer is fixed to me. Remember the computer help forum I told you about? Tell them your situation, they will offer up some things to try or not to try!LOL

Hey Daniella, I got a new froggie! Yippee, I gotta post a pic so you can tell me what kind he is. John said I couldn't have anymore pets but there is nothing he can do about the ones that show up on their own, lol. I have little baby clear tan geckos too.

Daniella... it took me a little while, but here are some pics of our frogs. The frog in pool, and on the side of the house are older pics that I pulled out of the i-photo. The frog through the window, my wife got a couple of weeks ago, while I was out of town. The window is the sidelight, to our front door. The entry light, right outside that window, attracts all sorts of insects and, therefore, the frogs and lizards. Its like our permanent science window. When the lizards are with-child, You can see the egg(s) inside their little bodies, through the window, because of the back lighting from the entry light. Very cool. Couldn't find a pic of that, but I'll get another next time.

Wow, Bob! Thanks for the froggy pix :) HOw cute!!! Damn, I'd move to Florida for the critters alone! Do you have any idea how happy I would be to see a frog on my window!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Awesome pix:) thank you for sharing!

O man, I wish you could too!!!! I havent been successful in finding any gray tree frogs around here yet..they are so tiny, and camoflauged so well. I'd love to have some red-eyed tree frogs as pets, but I am scared I can't take care of them properly. thank you for thinking of me and posting those pix :)
