My Lime tree, wich I think is a Key lime is flowering and

has tiny limes and limes fully grown. The flowering is not in abundance as in spring. A dream come true. One of my lemon trees, wich I think is a Ponderosa, still has the very large fruits.

Felix, congrats...isn't it great when our citrus bloom and fruit. Keep an eye on the flowers looking for little balls (fruits) Toni

Thanks. I look at the trees everyday. Early today I notice
more buds on the Lime tree. My young grapefruit tree is ready
for the fruits to be picked.

Sounds like you can have your choice of any of those three roses in high heat, Sylvia, given the previous posts. I think roses like these that have stiff petals seem to hold up well in the heat, as long as they get enough water not to shut down production entirely. My input is not useful for your question, but in case other cold zoners pop into this thread, I grow all three of those roses here in zone 5 and they overwinter reasonably well for me. I've had them all at least 5 years. They die to the ground most winters but come back without extreme protection measures. Dream Come True is in my more sheltered zone 6 bed, but Heart o'Gold and Chicago Peace are in average zone 5 beds and seem to do fine. Our heat can get and stay 90's and 100's for several months, and these are not roses that shut down in my experience, and they regrow quickly from winterkill each year. Is this a photosensitive rose, like Dick Clark? I have one planted, it's on to it's second flush...it doesn't look like the images on HMF, but the foliage looks the same to me. Just wondering if it's been mislabeled, or if it's the correct rose with different colouring here

I'm not saying that they are, because I know very little about them, but mine did form a seed pod after the flower wilted. Then it split open with a bunch of seeds ready to spill out. I don't have any other variety of this cactus, neither do my neighbors. Whether or not these seeds are viable, I can't say for certain until I try and germinate them. This is also another reason why I posted this, to see what others had to say about it. I zoomed in on the seed pod from the last photo. I've since removed it and have it sitting on my dresser in my bedroom.

Thank you all for the well wishes. It is a dream come true and I am blessed to be able to do this, that I do know❤️ Jeff: my. Machines have been haveing trouble balancing almost since day one, I adressed it with Bosch and they were fine. I more or less only use them for full loads of like stuff and big stuff like comforters and area rugs. They clean well but with only a 1000 watt heater and and only cold water connection, this differ from the US ones that has both it takes forever to wash. Jtc: it is my homes laundryroom. I live on a farm, no animals besides 2 rottweiler dogs and my partner. We have alot of people over and since it is somewhat far alot stay over so I do alot of laundry. The big Bosch and the miele are 11 years and my small Bosch I think is 8 or 9 years. My lundry is in a other boulding on the farm 10 steps from my front door and is 2 rooms, one for dirty and one for clean drying laundry and ironing-folding-mangleing. I will report back when they are in operation but it will be few weeks since need powerlines need to be put in with more amps.

Felix..as lime trees like so many other citrus age, they are always active in some way. My Lime trees are always flowering or fruiting almost non-stop. It's amazing to watch them. And every year the fruit gets bigger and better.And the best part of it all is to eat the fruits of their labor and share with friends and family:) ***Suzanne

Wow, you ppl in warmer climates are so lucky. Right now the only fruit that's mature are kumquats and ponderosa. I wish we lived in z7 at the minimum..Toni

Fexix, yep, you sound very happy..with good reason. I can't wait till summer so all my citrus will be togehter outdoors. Take pics of your plants if possible..Toni

I agree with Toni-I'm jealous. I currently have 2 Meyers lemons ready to eat and one BH citron fruit ready to bring in the house to perfume the kitchen. My trees take a break during the winter (due to being in a cool greenhouse) so I very much look forward to them flowering later in the year.
