What is your spring garden lacking?

The natural landscape on our farm is definitely geared toward a peak of late summer/ fall bloom. In fact the main display is Viola palmata, which can be impressive in cleared areas. Now that a serviceberry and the Aronia are getting more light they are blooming more than they ever did before. We do have an azalea that grows wild here but even that one doesn't bloom until June, R. viscosum. I've added a lot of new things but looking at the pictures here and driving around I always see other things I want too. What is not in your spring garden that you'd like to have?
