Christmas cloudless sulphur... is it too cold to release her?

I had a cloudless sulphur eclose Christmas morning, the forecast says the temp is 54 right now, partly cloudy, and forecast calls for low of 40 for next few nights, with same daytime temps as today. I have not been able to find information about cloudless sulphur butterflies and whether they overwinter here in louisiana, from what I have read, they are somewha cold hardy, but cannot find detailed info on this, and would like to find out if it would be okay to release this butterfly now, or if I should wait. I attempted to feed her sugar water solution earlier, but the proboscis is not as easy to unroll on this species as it was with my GSTs, and I didn't want to do any damage so I decided that it would be best to wait and try again if she is going to be indoors for an extended period, thanks!
