BST Chrysalid Losing Its Grip

I have a BST chrysalid on a stick, and I just noticed that the lower end, which should be firmly anchored to the stick, has come loose. So it's literally dangling by its sling. In addition, it's in an enclosure that is hanging freely, so when the wind blows or anything causes the thing to sway, it jiggles away.
This is my first BST experience, so I don't know how critical this is.
Will it be able to eclose properly if it doesn't have a firm anchor at the base? Should I try to anchor down the base somehow, like tie a thread around it? Or will it be just fine? I could try to move it to some other enclosure where it least it won't jiggle with the wind...any suggestions gratefully accepted.
Thanks.
