IMHO it is Kalanchoe blossfeldiana, or 'Flaming Katy'. The most common Kalanchoe available. Originally with scarlet flowers, now with many colours and single and double flowers. Your plant needs more light. Don't overwater. Use a well-draining potting mix. To some people these are something of a disposable plant, to be tossed after flowering. I kept one alive for 20 years, however.

Are these sometimes referred to as Queen Kalanchoes as well Christopher?

From Norma, I never heard them referrred by Queen Kalanchoes, they are common often referred to flower shop plants. Come in many colors. Christopher is correct with the Latin name.

Hi Christoper, thanks for ID'ing my plant! It's not much to look at I know, but other than it being a succulent, I was uaware as to what kind of plant it really was (common name, scientific) until now. It was a gift from a family member, and hers seems to be doing well - although it isn't in flower now... I will keep an eye out in the winter months!

It's a bit leggy with its very long, trailing stems. I guessed from photos I found through Google that Flaming Katy isn't supposed to do that! I haven't seen it flower - then again I got it this year. I will give it more light and see how it goes. Hoping for some fuller growth soon. It's in a 2.5 - 3" pot right now.

Isn't anyone going to suggest that it be cut back some to try & encourage better growth? That leggy, spindly growth isn't going to get better on its own (sorry).

It if were mine, I'd cut back a section or 2 to see if I could encourage fresh, new growth.

Thanks pirate girl, I agree about cutting it back...not one of my best looking plants right now, lol. I will try doing that!
