A couple pics. ID needed

Here is a couple of pics I took today. One is a neat little green lizard that puffs his pink throat out and follows my next door neighbor around her yard, lol. The others are plants in her yard that she doesn't know what they are. The one with the flower she thought was a morning glory but it stays open all day so I don't think so. She has had it in a pot for about 3 years and it comes back every year. The other is a vine that is taking over from the empty house next door to her on the other side. One is a large pic of the vine and the next a more close up one.

I see the pic doesn't show it well but the flower has a little pipe looking pouch below the flowers. I thought it was a thunbergia or clock vine? The other green vine with no flowers they said doesn't flower or make berries or anything else that they have noticed.

Now you know I have no idea WHAT what is but I just wanted to say that the lizzard is awesome. I have not seen one of those yet.
A question.........last picture the fence looks purple, so it is either the lighting from your camera, my eyes or her house is really pink / purple then lol

The second one looks like Liriope (also known as Monkey grass); it can be quite aggressive. The third one is an ornamental grass of some type (would not be called Monkey grass, that is the nickname for the previous one). The one with the purple flower is Vinca (periwinkle) and it is highly aggressive (don't get any of that and you may bring some of it accidentally if you did up other things). The next one looks like Yucca, as you said. As for the ferns, where is your mom located (what state)? If these are native ferns, it helps to know.

Smart alleck Patty, lol. I knew I could count on you to tell me its a weed, lol. I love the little plumes and was debating wether I needed to pull it but I like how it waves in the breeze. None of my poker plants are doing anything. I am so disappointed. I think John is watering them to death. I need to remember to not plant anything drought tolerant where he waters, lol. Thanks for the hibiscus ID. I didn't know what it was and need to figure out where to plant it.

I guess it must be some sort of pereskia. It was a bare 5' long thorny stick growing in the back of the greenhouse this spring so I cut it up and replanted the cuttings and then the foliage developed. I can't remember when I got it or what it looked like before. It was one of those plants that went unnoticed until it stabbed me. I'll wait and see if I get blooms. Thanks for the euphorbia ID.

Couple Iris shots and an ID needed ...

DNA testing. Hahahaha! It is next to impossible to get a positive ID on an iris like that, from what I understand. The hybridizers who use irises for breeding just get a new one from the person who hybridized it or from another well-known source, and throw theirs out. One thing you can do to further distinguish your iris is to keep a record of it: height, shape of the bloom stalk and branching, how many buds it gets in how many sockets, exactly when it blooms and for how long, whether it has a scent and if you can describe it, and so forth. Sometimes after a year or two you can positively ID from that information. I had a pale yellow noid that I finally positively identified as Total Recall because of the bloom habit and by contacting the nursery I bought it from and finding out all of the names of the yellow irises they sold in the past. The lizard is so cute. It's probably some type of anole. I don't know what the purple flower is but I've seen it in a number of gardens. I have no idea about 2 & 3 but I think #3 minght be a weed.

I love the lizard! I wish I had a lizard that followed me around in my yard.

I dont know about the flowers, but the vine I think is a wild grape vine.

The last 2 pics are the same vine covering the fence and going all the way into the top of the tree. They are fixing the house up to sell. They cut the vine back about 2 months ago to the ground and its that big again already, lol. I was thinking wild grape as well and maybe it needs a different one to make grapes like a male and a female. The purple/blue flower is beautiful. I should have taken a pic of the whole plant. Its loaded with blooms. She says her little dogs like to eat the flowers and she thinks they get a buzz from the seeds, lol. I love the lizard. I haven't seen one before either. The house is a hideous burnt orange actually if I remember right but not pink like it looks in the pic. I took all those pics with my cell phone so I'm surprised they came out that well. I hope they repaint the house a different color before they try and sell it, lol.
