Good morning Plumeria, I'd love to have some of your Watsonia bulbs. I've never grown them before and they appear that they would do well in my Central Texas soil. We have to have drought tolerant plants for this area as "Drought" has become our middle name. I also have some white rain lily bulbs, zephranthes drummondii, that bloom when the temps and rain coincide. During the rest of the year, if they don't get any water, their leaves disappear until the next rain. If you'd be interested. I've also got lots of grape hyacinth bulbs that need the heat - also very prolific. Whachathink? Xtal

Thanks for the replies. At least I know that it still is too early for poppies and watsonia to bloom. I guess since my ranunculus has been in bloom since January, I figured the poppies would be in bloom already; Of course this is the first year that I'm growing poppies from seed. Thanks! Z
