Speaking of roots...

The other month I transplanted a decent sized clump of Aeonium Kiwi. So time goes by and the plant is looking like it took. Then I started to notice a little patch in the middle of the clump that didn't look too good, losing color mainly. Thought that little part would rebound. Nope.

So a few weeks ago I decided to see what was going on and this is what I found.

;-) Surprise, Surprise, Surprise as the great Gomer Pyle used to say ;-)

When I tranplanted the cuttings, this section musta got caught up in the surrounding stems, I guess, and never grabbed into the dirt. So as the plant grew around it, this small section keep going up with it too... but all the while trying like mad to reach 'home'!

A bit ironic too 'cause I am so impatient when it comes to rooting. So many times I just wanna stick them in the ground or a pot --- and here this thing was 'rooting' for weeks +
