OT: POTD Finally bought myself a bike

good morning folks

Is everyone able to enjoy this Saturday?

Weather report....all week just slightly over 80 and at night not over 60. For Central Texas Today 40% and tomorrow 50% chance of rain and Thunderstorms. Happy about the rain...hope there will not be any hail or doing to much damage.

Barb and Shawn....With the weather changing like this...I can see why they predict freezing temps for your area again. Safe your plants!!

I really used to love riding a bike to deliver mail and miss it a LOT.

So I started with this one to get me back into the swing of things

It sure makes my heart beat faster! I am just not sure about the exercise part roflmao

Stay in touch...with the keyboard and leave a message. Especially if you usually just lurk. It would make our day to SEE you here and there.

It's easier then exercising ha ha ha

Very cute. How big is it? I can't tell from the pic. Is it the size of a regular tricycle?

Good morning Karyn. I would say the handle reaches my knees. I got to add that I do not have superlong legs rofl

yeah it is probably kids size tricycle :-) K mart had it on sale and like I mentioned...I just love bikes . This is my second one. Found another one at a local seller. Cost the same but is by far not as cute looking and did not come with the pots lol. Also the black paint he sprayed it with, I guess to cover the rust...he goes buys this stuff in Mexico.....anyways...the paint is already chipping off :-( I tell you, there is so much to learn and watch out for.

you all are putting this HUGE smile on my face. My RED face lol. I just do what I feel is making lots of us feel a bit better or start the day with a minute of nothing but a great peaceful feeling. Dorothy you are SO right. I was thinking the same thing..haase just needs time to figure ME out lol. Pam it is really scary how many night blind folks of us are out there on the road driving around roflmao ANYTHING dumb goes lol Eddie all I say is OUTCH. That must have hurt lol Ann don't you just hate all that modern technology? lol When I came back to the US a few years back..had the same problem. Have yet to gas up my truck by myself roflmao But that is because of me not wanting to spend my money on gas :-))))) Eloise trust me, it was not because this young guy thought I was cute lol Kim now that is scary and one time I had forgotten that I had a pot on the stove to heat up water...one of those whistling things. Well I was lucky...the lid was just melted to the pot...and a few minor things....but no fire. I could have burned the whole house down :-( That is what happens when I try to do a million things all at once. Well this was not the first time a car of ours got stuck in the mud and we had to get rescued. But the 1st time we were not married yet and just had some fun lol Lucy

Pam that is what I thought also. I only ventured out to buy the wooden wheel barrow....and ended up with the bike also hahaha and 3 more things...well...I DO have THREE kids and DH said that I should go and buy a gift for me from the kids

Yep,

One just like yours that you can sit and admire. You exercise to bend over to put the pot of plants in and water once in a while. haha

I was thinking as I was waiting for the message to load, that if I knew you wanted a bike I would have sent you mine. Bought it years ago and never rode it. I don't think I can turn it into a cute planter like yours though. LOL!!! Blue Daze is a great flower to grow in the heat as it blooms like crazy! You have really been busy with your gardening and I am enjoying your pictures! Keep up the good work !

I wish I could find a bike that you don't have to lean over to ride. I miss it but it kills my neck. I love yours though. Really cute!

Kristi, you need some upright handlebars. My hubby put some on my old bike to help with the pressure on my wrists.
