No matter what September brings...or this day....I always know when I come HERE, I am with friends!

Good morning Lucy. My luck aint been to good. Been dealing with 2 different leaks in the house (roof and plumbing. I reckon its been good in the fact I aint been to work since I got back :) Oh, and so far all my cutting are holding up

Barb thanks. Daniella gave me the idea last year when she said she grows her EE's in them. But Karyn is right...they do cost a lot. Our Lowes carried a few when I bought those 2. I want more though. Siam now if you could tell me what it looks like...the heliconia illustrious, I could say yes or no lol. That name says nothing to me. Sorry. Karyn I think I would have killed Rolando. My gosh who ever got them...they must still be grinning all over their faces. The sweet potato vine is a carry over from the one Kristy gave me last year. I just LOVE it. It grows fast. You can stick a leaf in the dirt and it grows a new plant. yupp love the vine and the color. Shawn no Banana in there. It is this huge growing Canna. Got it from the lady who was thrown out of her house by the Mother in law after her husband passed away. I wish I would have dug out more. I LOVE it because it is getting so tall! And of course the color! Shaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawn...roflmao now THAT was funny. But even when I was younger and drank more...whiskey was not one of the things I liked to much lol Besides...do you think I could be gardening that much? Heck I drink a glass of red wine at night and can not do anything anymore ...hicks Lucy

Good morning everybody. Lucy, your family is wonderful. Andrea is so beautiful and happy holding the two angels. Lucy, you must be very happy to have your family around you. I miss mine. Karyn, glad the party was successful and you had help with the kids. Last night I dreamed of my mother who died 7 years ago. I do not remember the whole dream but I remember only a portion of it. We were flying (why ?) and she was holding me close, hugging me. I could see that we were about to land on a water . The wind was pushing us towards some big rocks. The water was clear, I could see the rocks in the water. I was telling myself that we will smash and hit our heads into them when we land. We could hurt ourself or die. My mom was guiding me in a way that we landed on a rock and had only our feet in the water. I felt so protected. In a couple of hours I'll go for my surgery but before it I came here to say Good Morning. Hope everything go smoothly and my mom will protect me like in my dream. I have to go now. My cardoon and artichokes are both green too but I don't know what they'll look like after the snow melts. Whenever that will be! My artichoke didn't produce until the second season and they are very closely related to the cardoon. How many pages of history is showing up for you? I haven't checked any of the other forums. I can only see 2 pages here but a search will bring up old posts.

I try to have fun. Little did I know that I needed the good luck for myself today!

Cause I hope Kristy is not going to kill me. I actually called her at 6 am in the morning and woke the poor woman up.

Again SORRY Kristy. But I thought I had my mom's number dialed last and just hit the redial button. Well, I DID call Kristy yesterday lol

I let you all know if the good luck worked for me. If you do not hear from me again...I am sure Kristy will let you know that it did not work roflmao

Now I am going to see if Caren's DIL has made it to our little City yet.

Brandon man you need the lady bug AND the rabbit rabbit rabbit. I sure hope you get it fixed soon!!

Hi Lucy, sometimes I don't understand what you write. It must be secret messages to one or the other of your friends.
But anyhow, the best good luck I could wish for is some cooler weather. Right when the kids get back to school in September, that's when the ovens get turned on one more time and the heat is unbearable.
I remember when I had just bought winter-type clothes for the kids' new school year, and it would be too hot to wear them. moan, and complain........

Haase, Kristy is a GW member here...fool4flowers. I met her here, but she lives in the same town as me.

So Kristy does not get up at 6 am and I woke her on accident. Which made me feel horrible.

There is really no secret messages Ingrid. It is more like that if you have been around for a while and you know a lot about different things and what goes on in their lives...when you talk about it...THEY know and everyone else that has been here a while reading all about it lol.

You will understand real soon. It does not take long when you care about the members here.

Caren your family is here and they are just such wonderful people! Especially your grandkids! No wonder you always have this huge smile on your face when you show photos with you and them together in it.

Thanks, Lucy. It is fun to follow the messages, I already feel like I know a whole bunch of garden friends, because a lot of them are repeat "posters". And if there ever is a secret message in one of the posts, I'm sure it wouldn't be anything for me to worry about.

When I got up this morning, getting my cup-a-coffee and walking out to my brug, I was thinking of your frequent "morning greetings", Lucy. So delightful!

you all are putting this HUGE smile on my face. My RED face lol. I just do what I feel is making lots of us feel a bit better or start the day with a minute of nothing but a great peaceful feeling.

Dorothy you are SO right. I was thinking the same thing..haase just needs time to figure ME out lol.

Haase once everyone knew me and how I mix up words at times etc..learned to figure out what I was trying to say lol Or just come out and ask me.
