She's beautiful. She must have set up shop in a rose bush or hedge. There are lots of thorns on those branches. I have a pair visiting my feeders daily now but I have not been able to locate their nest. The past three years I have seen them nesting in the front yard dominant pine, but I can't see the exact spot from the ground and have not seen the female traveling to that tree at all. The male has taken up his tradtional territorial roost overlooking the feeder. That will last until I see more birds show up and then I will set additional feeders throughout the yard. Then the male usually travels alot trying to cover all feeders (unsuccessfully) rather than roosting over the snigle one I have out presently.

Boxo, I was going to race back and recheck for AD photos, but my Memorial Day was actually done around 1:30 a.m. before I had to crash out and get ready for the Memorial Day trial. Eluane got a Lord-Blessed Miracle 1st Place. As soon as I get a breather we'll be posting her photos. It was sooo cute because she did not want to leave the competition when everyone had already packed up! She looooves the agility comps and practicing and pulled against the side of the leash and smashed her whole chest against the floor with sad eyes, and head against the floor, not wanting to leave, I was so shocked- if only I had my camera with me!!! it was so cute Boxo. Anyway, I only have a few nice blooms going because my baby roses are hating the heat and won't open up properly in the actual blooming stage. Your Don Juan will have to help keep me from going insane with my DJ, haha! But Climbing Okie has taught me to sit down and stop my Belly-Achin' haha! I am enjoying DJ's fragrance but geeee I hate our blasting suns roasting the blooms. We are having drought and heat sooooo early (2 months ahead of schedule) but I'm sure you'll get some nice weather once your niece's baby shower begins! The Garden will be SPECTACULAR! Be sure to post your favorites so we can celebrate at our Gallery and many congratulations to both sisters! One for being a Mom, the other for being an Aunt! Yes, Boxo, I do remember you not having children, but what a Blessing you've been for your nieces- your "daughters", really and truly! Many Hugs and will talk soon. I'm so thrilled to be back STALKING AD, and he still has fabulous timing! I will never forget what a gorgeous bouquet he made on my Birthday too, haha! That year was a real bad year for me gardenwise and you really helped cheer me up with AD!!! So I know for sure he will indeed go full blast and make a Gorgeous Present for your nieces on the Baby Shower Event too! And yes, I can't wait to see the red companion roses going with AD! :D Oh, so yummy, on the Korean barbecue...James also loooves Korean barbecue ribs. This thread us giving me chills too lol. I have had some very strange encounters with 'ghosts' or what have you over the years. I'm not saying I believe in all that but sometimes things would be hard to explain otherwise. Here's one: My husband's father passed away a yr after we got married. He never got to see my hubby graduate. We lived in Phx, Az at the time. Hubby had changed careers and went to college during this time. I was also in college. 4 yrs later, after I graduated, we moved to a very small town in the NE and we both had started jobs in a hospital there. One evening, we came home from work and on our *brand new* answering machine, was a message. .. My husband's father's voice exactly!! He said...."(insert my hubby's name) this is dad. I am really pround of you son. I'm sorry I wasn't there for your graduation but I just want you to know that I love you and and I am really proud of you." I mean this was his dad's voice exactly. How weird is that?? There's no one else in his family who sounds like that and could or would randomly do something like leave some weird message like that. We were both really freaked out. My grandfather saw a UFO in Phx, sitting on his back patio in the 1970's. It moved in such a way that would not be explainable at the time. He was ex military (WWll) and very familiar with all kinds of aircraft and weapons in the military. This was a man who didn't prior, believe in any such nonsense (his words) and I had never heard him make up stories or exaggerate facts. I believe what he saw. We recently moved onto our new farm. A few months later, the elderly gentleman from the next farm over, told my husband, that the lady who owned it before had 3 husbands die in a row. Wth? So far no ghosts here *yet* though lol.
