Oooh, I'm jealous of you organized people! Between hubby being in hosp for 2 weeks and pretty sick, and focusing what time I had on winter sowing (which I was late starting), my patio/balcony/roof garden/whatever the heck it is ... is a mess :-( Pots and window boxes are still full of dead stuff, and pots are still wrapped in foam and bubble wrap. BUT ... I have sprouts from some of my winter sowing (which I only started on 3/13)! I'm pretty excited about that, because I kind of doubted that I would be successful with that, but it WORKS :-) Good thing, too, because I haven't started my indoor sowing yet. My forsythia is starting to POP. Tulips are pushing up, but the daffs and crocuses seem to have poked up a tiny head and not liked something, cause they are just sitting there. Can't wait to put out the many coleus cuttings I took, cause I need a COLOR fix :-)

I am doing one more trip monday! I have to have a royal velvet for myself after finding that they are rare. I can pick up some more bulbs but I am not looking for trades right now. You would have to pay for the bulb and shipping through paypal. Let me know by tommorow if you guys want some. I can only handle so many though...If I get a lot of interest I will have to close it..... I can do it for a few people. 1st come 1 st served...I can do it for three people...Not sure what they have left. 1st person picks from the bunch and so on and so on...Their prices you cant beat...Royal velevet is 7 dollars for it...Barb

I wish every seller eBay or website could read this whole posting. I plan in my future to sell plumeria and I'm reading and understanding what is being said here! Good Lessons, respect, ethics and care. Either your in it because you are passionate about what you do or it becomes "Old Hat"...."It's a Job" mentality. If I grow a cutting and intend to sell it as a rooted cutting, it must spend more than 10 months in a pot and hopefully a year to establish good root growth. Sounds like they might be forcing them to root fast to sell? Also it could be possible that a mix in cuttings before the sale was offered on eBay ( Still no excuse! ) Reputation and Customer Relations is so very important especially when it comes to selling something so unique as plumeria and tropical flowering plants! As a Seller (of plumeria) you must remember: #1 Your Plumeria are always remembered where they came from long after the purchase! *Especially if it came from Hawaii for Pete Sake!!! #2 Build a reputation that increases sales to a level you can maintain. ( Ship exactly what you are selling ) #3 Take Pride build a relationship become a mentor of your passion. ( Look for ways to help your buyer become more knowledgeable about their purchase ) #4 Photograph current flowers from the plant the cutting came from ( I'm so appreciative seeing a photo of the cutting before it is shipped!!!) #5 Respond to all calls / emails! ( Listen to your Customers ) From everyone's responses to this post, it sounds like the seller has been at it for years and has lost some of their passion for what made them into who and what they are today. I've had a couple issues there myself. I guess there are some issues with how they came across because I did spend some time crying about it off and on. I thought, kind of like Lisa, that I was being too sensitive. Now, with all the different opinions, it definitely seems they have some problems with how they communicate to their members. I still think their hearts are in the right place, but they should work with how they communicate what they need to, or basically, they need to work on how they come across to others. Cody used the word "reprimand" which is very much how they come off. Anyways, Lisa, I'm glad you've successfully completed so many "trades" there as they call them. I've been trading there for over a year and haven't done near that many! There are some great members there as you get to know the individuals. I'm glad I blew off the issues there to be able to get to know some of the great gardeners/people in the group. Blessings, Angela

Nope. Just enjoy them and remember that how it feels to just get something. It comes from the heart and if I would get something in return, it would not let me feel the same about SHARING!

It has happened to me so many times. One day I hope to have something to give back to THOSE friends. But until then, I just SHARE what I can with who ever wants what I have. Just knowing that a few people are happy, makes me also happy

Been a busy 2 days with Maddy so I have not even checked if everyone has gotten their package yet. All 12 of them that went out. I hope so!

Ria as I wrote you I would be happy to share some EE's with you come fall. I can dig you some new ones up that grew out of the mommy. I hope. Cause I was suprised how many offsprings I got from the 3 moms. Let me know if you still need some then ok. REally sorry you were not here when I had them still to offer.

Lucy, I got mine yesterday, OMG that EE bulb was HUGE. And the extras were just great, I can tell you packaged them with such care. Those oxialis(sp?) roots were sooo weird looking, but beautiful.

Wow!!! I received a box that contained a small garden. :)Thank you Lucy for all of the neat plants. What a nice surprise. I've got them all potted. The EE will have to wait until the ground dries up a little, we've had rain all this week. Thanks again Lucy, you're such a sweetie!!!
