Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder!

Good moring...HELLO

I hope that you enjoy this wild growing plant...no idea what it is. But it grows all over the yard. Mostly around the birdbath and it looks so beautiful, that mowing is not allowed while they bloom!

Of course I DO THE MOWING so there is no problem ha ha ha

I double checked....I am in my OWN message for the POTD so it is safe to go get a cup of coffee before I continue.

Hey Lucy and Good Morning!
I thinks its primrose. Maybe Evening Primrose. I planted some a long time ago.
They reseed everywhere, I like them. Cute little flowers.
I have my Coffee on the 2nd pot! LOL

Good morning all. Lucy, definitely a primrose; so pretty. I like the look of your coffee -- looks strong like I like it, thank you very much, LOL! I put in just enough cream to barely turn the color a bit. My DD adds like half cup milk to half cup coffee and calls that liking strong coffee!

Dandy-line - the first yellow flower looks totally different from the second to me. Are you saying you think they are the same? The first does look like an Oenothera while the second looks like a Lithospermum. I am pretty certain the two are NOT the same plant.

Hmm, I actually was talking with the guy as he disassembled it to see what was wrong. Within a few minutes he had gone through the saw, set the RPM's using an RPM guage, then we tested it. After 3 cuts, it started revving really high then gradually idled down. Once the saw was disassembled again, the "manifold" had cracked completely in two pieces. My thought is due to the years of use coupled with the fact that its a plastic part. So, I figure I've got maybe 20 bucks labor in it as well as a 10 dollar part. I can take that a lot easier than the 300 plus I was going to spend on a new saw. I went ahead and had him replace the clutch cover because the chain tensioner had worn through the side of it. So, for less than 50 bucks my saw will be good to go for probably 3-5 more years. If I continue to have problems with it (if this is the beginning of the end), I'll bite the bullet and buy a new Stihl. But, for now my homeowners saw should be good to go by this weekend. Comments?

But, it don't change anything I understood when he was talking about evidently you understood what I was taking about. Spelling has nothing to do with higher education. has to do with memory, some people are good at it, just like others have limiting factors that prevent them from ever being good speller's. Acutally his spelling is closer to the sound anyway depending on how you say it IMO?! Now if we "were" teaching grammer or english at any level I would consider it important to correct every mistake, cause after all that's what we are in the class for. IMO most of us can't spell even one's with degrees can't spell, that's why there are so many spelling aids, then you add the different meaning to same word. Some Teachers have always had a tuff job, it getting tuffer everday, some are just AH's, and some don't have a clue what their doing just in all walks of life the majority are doing a great job. IMO I also think the gen X factor plays the biggest roll!. The smart teachers with good memory go higher so they don't have to be in the class rooms IMO. And because they have the higher education piece of paper they can boss and tell the ones that don't what's right or wrong. When they may have little experience in that area. Yes, degrees are good, usually commands more money, and something to be proud of, but that don't mean "there" "right" all the time or know what they are talking about. IMO we see good examples in Fed Government. Ok I done?!? Hooray! Thank you for the applause!!! I'm Like a cockabur thorn just won't go away and keeps borrowing deeper. Some say I'm a AH, but "I" find that hard to "believe"

Shawn roflmao. On Saturday I will have to haul everything back into the shed for 2 days since it gets below freezing and close to it. I don't mind. This way they can grow because they sure want to and harden off easier...so I hope. Did ONLY add more soil to the pots were the soil level had dropped 3 or more inches. For the rest, I WILL wait till all danger of frost is over. Cause I am NOT hauling even more big pots in the shed lol I wonder how cold a non hardy succulent can tolerate? Caren I put some rocks on the bottom to give it some weight. Then added succulent earth. Planted the plants and then added the little rocks and the sea shells. Shawn I truly hope too that I can refrain myself from overwatering. I should only get plants that love water lol. Siam yes I love Lowes and they almost greet me by name when I walk through the gate to the gardencenter roflmao Eloise I figured I try the buy and forget it plants lol. My sister has 2 green hands with cactus'. Man hers are HUGE and bloom all the time. I got 3 wild ones growing in the back and they hurt to much. So they are OUT for me. lol Barb I believe we ALL get very excited when we see our plants grow. Regardless of what they are. Like yesterday there was NO sign from the sunflowerseeds that Madison planted and today....WOW. Maddy will have a ball tomorrow :-) OH man guess what I saw while I was out in the yard....it must have followed me home from Lowes. While there I saw a spynx moth just having a ball with all those blooming flowers. Right in front of my nose. Then at around noon there it was...again right in front of my nose having lunch on ......well it has pink flowers...is a perennial and smells real good when you touch it...I need to get me the name for this one that i have all over the yard growing lol. Dorothy I have a few hardy ones and took some of those rose looking ones appart and planted them between the rocks around the flowerbeds. Now I got to go outside and get my young brug seedlings and PLumeria seedlings in. Gave them some fresh air today. Lucy WOW i GOT READY TO SUBMIT IT AND SAW THAT I WROTE HALF A NOVEL ROFLMAO

Morning Lucy. I have those all over too. I pulled a bunch out from under my little area around the crepe myrtle tree to clean it out so I could plant something else there but they were back by the next weekend before I could do it, lol. We used to tell the other kids to sniff them when we were little and poke it against their nose and they would be walking around with yellow pollen clinging to the end of the nose. We thought it was so funny and they were like what are you laughing at, lol. Boy to be a kid again.

Lucy after looking at your post this morning i decided
to have 3 cups of !!!!coffee!!!!.
Boy was i pump upppppp. I went outside and dug up a 6 feet
Herrenhauser Garten. have had this plant for 4 years and it
gave me 3 blooms after all of that care i gave it.
so up up up and away.

Dorothy the sphynx moth loved it too. While I was watering tonight it got really busy in a whole bunch of them that opened today.

Eloise that is usually ME ha ha ha but I had poured to much coffee and there was not enough room for more milk. Hence the dirty outside of the cup ha ha ha

Chocolate brug...I am laughing so hard I have tears in my eyes. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh I told you I am waiting across the railroad tracks meno lol What is the saying...I could rip out a tree? I guess all that coffee let you do it lol

Another proof that amercian hyperdized brugs do much better for us.

I hope everyone had a good day. I worked last night and came home this am and didn't get up till after 5 oclock, that is like really sleeping in for me, I hope I can sleep tonight!!! I need to take a pic of the stump I dug up yesterday!! boy I am sore today!!!
