I need some basic jade instruction

YodaJade

I have a few Jade that I believe need some tending too. I have one that is about 3 years old and one that is about 23 years old.

The old one seems to have some branches that are very small in diameter that have curved downward and I'd like to know how, or if I need to prune to fix.

The 3 year old one is getting very full and I'm wondering if I need to start pruning it.

Also, I would like to know if the sun they're receiving is sufficient.

I just received the old one from a customer of mine. I don't know much about it other than the age. Both get about a cup of water on the first of every month. My 3 year old is planted in cactus soil.

This is my first post though I read a lot here, and I don't know how to submit multiple photos. What I've attached is the 3 year old.

Any other suggestions based on the looks of them would be greatly appreciated as I just bought the 3 year old because it was there, and now have fallen in love with these plants.
