Finally got them unpacked & repotted! Almost feels like Spring! :)

I'm still wondering how Eddie got the three priority boxes in the larger priority box! He must be a master at packing boxes! Great job!!

Nothing damaged - other than a few leaves falling off! We know that's normal when in transit. I can't wait until my next order! Yahooooooo!

Mike I am laughing. Why? Cause I see a jungle all around your yard already. My gosh how many angels do you have now? lol

Congrats to your newest additions. They look like the great plants that Eddie sends out!! And YES I think so too that he is a master at not only raising beautiful angels...but also at packing ;-)

How is your green room doing Mike? Keeping the little pests under control so far?

Are you sinking the pots in the ground or how are you letting your Brugs grow this year?

I can not wait to see your home surrounded by all the angels etc.

Hello Everyone!! Kirk.. Beautiful!! Just, beautiful.... Lady.. Lol. ;-). Are you trying to enable me? I love them too!!! Had a few, but they didn't do well.. I think I should give them another try? LMAO!! My DH will have a " cow" if I bring home any more.. Lol. I can still sneak in a Plumie here or there. They provide great cover with all of the foliage!! I will admit.. Greetings from the world of brugmansia, where it's always "Happy Gardening"! with Jeri and Eddie!! Jeri tells me that our website is getting some last minute fine-tuning. jeri works with (i.e. pesters) the designer night and day, tweaking this and that...who knows? She has assured us that worldofbrugmansia.com will be fabulous, even if we have to wait a little longer. Jeri says she would have been done by now but, as usual, she was getting no help from Eddie, who can't seem to leave the greenhouse...always something interesting going on in there! Who knows? Jeri says the website will open in stages and the first stage will be an open forum intended to give brugmansia growers a place to share knowledge and ideas, pictures and experiences...there are so many topics of interest and we know that you, the reader, are uniquely qualified to report, inquire, and debate and share all of the best (and sometimes, the worst) from your world of brugmansia! Eddie's collection of angel trumpets will debut in stage two, according to Jeri. I don't think he really knows how many different ones he has, (he claims he knows EXACTLY, thank you) but they'll be presented in a beautiful gallery display designed to entice you to add to your own collection. Eddie says the brugs will be of finest quality, robust and rooted, shipped in the container, and he will strive to make sure every one that goes out is at least 12 inches tall, since a larger starter makes a more beautiful tree. In addition to coordinating the website, our Miss Jeri is busy as a bee with her hybridization program, which she runs from her fabulous home in south Florida. Jeri will present her offerings of brugmansia cuttings in stage three, after all of her little seed pods have ripened and been collected, so she's anticipating this to happen in early summer. Jeri and Eddie are both driven to collect more and more for their hybridization programs because they see the possibilities of it all and they have a deep curiosity and boundless energy when it comes to breeding angel trumpets. The results have been great so far. We're all getting ready for "the next big thing"! Two other ideas being considered for www.worldofbrugmansia.com are a live chat area for stimulating conversation, pithy comments and simply fun back-and-forth for brug lovers, growers and the people who love them, and, lastly, we'd like to investigate with you, our reader, the level of interest and concern on the topic of brugmansia heritage preservation. Shawn is right, Mike!!..you're gonna hear it..baaaaaadd baaaaaaadd boy!!! lmao. Another temptation!! More torture!! I have to admit I am seriously thinking about asking for this baby for valentine's day. I get nervous asking for things to be held though. I have ordered from CG before, and was very pleased. So far anyway, they havent bloomed yet, lol. But they sent very nice sized plants, very healthy & happy. Ryan, I have MAM, but she's a new cutting..havent had her bloom yet. So, sorry I can't help there. GottaHosta has it..maybe she'll pop in and you can ask her..or post a new thread addressing her to ask the question. damn, I'm gonna be thinkin about this all day..thanks Mike, lol. I Hope DH is in a good mood when he gets home from work so he says yes!

I think they will look nice in the garden with the veggies. Make sure and put some tall sunflowers (maybe in some autumn colors) in there too, I bet that would look good with the orange/yellow brug. I grow herbs around the bottoms of the brugs sometimes like chocolate mint and peppermint, lemon balm etc. They seem like they can take alot of water and fert. that I put on the brugs. If they get too wild I just rip a bunch of it out and feed it to the bunnies lol. Kylie I can't believe its getting that hot there already. I thought I was dying last week when it was 96 here. What happened to spring? I am getting whimpy, I want cool weather again.

Mike how many brugmansia did you buy? Is the Orange Infusion and Sam from the secret santa, or did you have to replace? I can't wait to see a picture of your yard this summer when these plants are in full bloom. Barbra

Lucy - lol! Too many! Slightly over 600 in the greenroom - but not counting what I left in the yard over the winter. And there are duplicates - so I can't really count them. The greenrooms great! Not much of a problem other than the darn spider mites. I've got them under control - finally! I don't use pots - everything goes in the ground.

Barbra - The 'Orange Infusion' you sent me went to Angel Heaven! The 'Sam' is doing great! I just wanted to get another one for 'peace of mind' - in case I lost it! lol! After spraying for those darn spider mites - it took off nicely! :)) New leaves are finally appearing!

what a nice haul, I can just see your yard this spring, I
bet you won't have much grass to mow, it will be a forest
in your yard, it will smell great, have you counted your
brugs, I try but I always lose count, all your plants

Eddie does send out fantastic plants--and his packaging skills are so that you can't even tell his brugs went on a USPS voyage!!!

How are things going?

The brugs you purchased sound AWESOME. Great job my friend. I've got my eyes peeled on some new purchases too.

Was that a typo 600 brugs? HOLY catz! What a wonderful piece of paradise you will have this summer. I would love to visit your yard in the evening and take in the exotic brug scent.

They all look great Mike. I can't wait to be able to order from Eddie. Of course I have to ask how the German ones are doing? 600+ Brugs!? How are you going to keep them all watered? But with that many you should at least have something in bloom all the time. Can't wait for the pics.
