My friends Jodi and Jody, MariaVa and MariaE, Soultan(and Toto), Arif, and remember Raydio?? Elizabeth/Ann, Haweha. Anna-Quebec and Jaapm, the Otter that's cuddly and Haxuan, Lizalily and Kaboehm-Kristi, Chazparas(my man Chaz), Salpal, Ryan, Beetle, dizzy77, Pat - houston style, bluebonsai, mymanga, lovely LoraIn and all the newbies, and friends here who share the love of Amaryllis, plants and gardening, AND people who love people in general. Plus all those I have forgotten to mention and who we don't hear from enough lately....I just want to say

Oh, yeah, Dalette - you've found a passion that will challenge you, that will fill your days with a lot of joy and just a bit of sorrow (we all lose a few...), but it's a hobby that will keep you busy once you get into it. Plants (Hoyas & succulents) have been a lifelong hobby for me because I don't have children - I imagine trying to do BOTH would be challenge a lot of people couldn't handle! Greg and Joan, I'm looking forward to more pics from you two! Golden Pagoda is intriguing. You don't see that one much, and I bet it gets very prominent points in the Houston heat. Joan, maybe you hire a little crew of teenagers every Spring Break to help you out with those 200 trees! Can't wait to see the blooms that are developing here, and you bet I'll post when I get a chance. Robert, that Lemon Drop is Thornton's and one of only a few big ones I have. It's certainly the "branchiest". That's what you can look forward to in a few more years! Bill, our little guy gets us invited back to a lot of places! We would all love to go back to CA soon. Will definitely let you know if we get a chance. K, glad the seeds are coming up for you; they're the perfect flowers for a Texas drought! Yes, that is TLD on the tree because my memory is just THAT bad, lol. Sometimes I abbreviate and then ask myself, "Now what the heck does that stand for again?" Dave, thanks for the compliments! I'm in Austin. We're 8b but I've seen at least one big plumeria tree kept in the ground all winter in my neighborhood. It can be done in a sheltered spot with frost cloth since our freezes are all short-lived. Mike, I found another possible oh-please-let-it-be inflo today, so I feel like I won the lottery! Hope you also have a great bloom year!

Eva, I'm sorry about the malignancies. We will continue praying for Barbara and keeping her in our thoughts. Thank goodness she will have someone there to help her through the summer. Please continue to keep us updated on her from time to time if you don't mind. Her positive outlook will get her far in her fight. We will be there for her. Linda

Happy Turkey Day, everyone! I hope you enjoy your time with family or if not spending time with family, enjoy your hippis! My family is on their way to our house for the holiday. All of them. Until Saturday. There isn't enough Xanax in the world to prepare me for this. lol Joking. A little bit. Okay, not really joking at all. Mwah! Love you all :-)

I give thanks for ALL OF YOU and for all the lovely pictures and for CHAD, bless it! You all have made a big difference in my depressed dark winters! Now if you do not hear from me much over the next month it will be because I am off enjoying some sun to the south of us! I know you will forgive me for not answering, .

I wil pop in as I get a chance on my lap top. We are heading to Portland for a few days with our kids, then home to pack and take off on the 4th.

Cindee and everyone else,
First, thanks to Gardenweb you are all part of my life. Like it or not!!! LOL
I'm a very blessed person and I never take that for granted. I've seen too much in my life to not appreciate what I have. I appreciate you all and the time I get to "spend" with you. I may not post much here lately but I read quite often, school work occupies most of my time these days.
I wish you all the best, and thank you all for your photos, advice, the smiles you provide, and every now and then the packages that arrive in the mail!
