Anyone in the T.C. MI area want to seed swap??

Does anyone in the Traverse City area want to get together for a seed swap? Then maybe send extras to Bakemom? One big fat package!

Greetings Dan!! I was hoping you were still around. I think there were a couple others from around here, 'sides you. For seeds I have a hodge-podge of stuff I have updated my list so check it out. Maybe we could meet at Roys, that's about half way!!LOL!!

for those of you who divides their plants I think it is perfectly fine if you dig up and bring it alone in plastic bag, moistened but not potted as long as it had decent root ball to go with. Mone if you have energy to swing by, I think everybody would be delighted. Primula sieboldii has gone dormant so all I could give you piece of soil and hope there is plant there LOL it is one of the primulas that completely dies back. I do have few others, with this cold summer my primulas are still blooming... I would love some fancy coleus cuttings I will pot up few seedlings of aconitum napellus and see if they survive. If anyone want to add petasites japonicus purpurea to their garden be my guest am not sure about rhubarb have to check what is growing there it did not bloom this year and it is rarely produces babies.

Hi Kasha. There are so many swaps going on already this fall that it is doubtful that you will find too many folks who are not already committed to going to one of them. I am going to the Greer, SC on Sept. 20th and then to the High Point Swap, NC on Oct.4th. That takes care of all the gas money I have for a while. There is another in Charlotte, NC on the 13th???? of Sept that I would love to go to but I have already made trades that I have to take to the other 2 so I am out. I would suggest that you might want to look forward to the spring and decide on a place and a date and I am sure that 'They Will Come'. I know that I will, Mooresville is not too far for me and I love to shop in both Mooresville and Huntersville, making a convenient loop for me. For the time being why don't you think about joining in on one of the other swaps, meet new friends and other gardeners. Glad to see you here, Welcome, Les (Love2GardenNC)

I would love to be apart of a plant exchange in Chattanooga. I will soon be moving there and you have no idea how happy that makes me. I just came back from Iraq after spending over 16 months there, I use to get on the internet and look at trades on gardenweb just to try to give me something to look foward to when I got back, its weird the things that you miss but sitting on the computer late at night sipping a glass of wine, looking and achanging ideal/seeds with all my friends at gardenweb was it. Now I am back soon getting out of the army, just bought a house in chattanooga (just thinking about it makes me teary eyed) but anyway, I am more than looking for foward to a swap around chat

I have Tuesdays and Thursdays daytime free if those will work-other days are fine too, but I'd probably have to bring my 6 yr old! Maybe at the library??
How about you Dan? I was only teasing about Roys, it would be too crowded I think.
Or someones house?

Did you guys have anything you wanted to send to Bakemom? I have some things to send her if ya'll wanted to add to it.

Sorry to say I work 8:30 To 5:00 Mon thru Fri. But I sure don't mind if you bring your 6 year old. Maybe the library would be best. It would give your little one something to do. I actually do have some seeds for bakemom. I collected tons of purple datura this year. I went thru my seed box and have other things I would be happy so see in a good home. You just let me know when and were will work for you.

Saturdays are best but if it works out for an evening after work I can do that too. What ever is easiest for you. Just pick a date and let me know. As long as I am not working I will try my best to make it.
