Jordi - Did you usually lose yours during active growing season, or in dormancy? How did they 'go'? What were the symptoms? Mine is indoors under a 400W MH light now (lots of skylight and window light, too). Warmish days (around 70 on avg.) cool nights (down to 50). While it is growing like this, I have been watering when it is dry (that has been about every 5 days or so). Last week, it was at around the 5 day mark and the flower stalk drooped a little. Watered it and it perked right up. I haven't had it long enough to be an expert in growing them, but I am curious about the conditions under which you lost yours.

Plectanthrus flowers. Ledebouria flower. Gasteraloe pup. One of these things. Surprised that the E. Vigueri is leafing out already. Didn't do that till about April last year. It also flowered first. You can see the other half of the pereskia in the pic above. I should probably trim it sometime. No comment about the relative happiness of these two but they're not doing terrible. Also surprised this guy is already leafing out.

Can't move in and out of these shows unrecognizable any more...but it does have it's pluses too, A vendor saw me standing in line and called me in about 45min ahead of everyone else. Brought home 7 plants, a softball sized Gerradanthus, Cyphostemma sandersonii, 2 Euphorbia, Pelargonium cotyledonis, Agave utahensis eborispina and an Aloe from your table. jules, there was no P. succulentum at the show

I have 2 Pachy namaquanum, both dropped their leaves in May. Now one of them is leafing out. It is so hot, it doesn't know what to do. The most difficult months for me are March and April...days are getting longer, sun is getting stronger, but not quite warm enough outside. This coming spring I plan to get a pop-up greenhouse with a heater to help jumpstart my tropical plants, just for those 2+ months. x
