Right off the top of my head, I would say Cardinal flower, Great blue lobelia, Monkey Flower, some iris, obedient plant, most native Lysimachia, some Hibiscus, Joe pye weed, turtlehead, some native Bidens, swamp milkweed and even some Asters.

Andrea, you might get some interesting reponses on Perennial or even Bog gardens -

A few more that come to mind (perennials) are darmera, ligularia, the candleabra type primroses like primula bullyeana and p. beesiana

all good choices above, add rodgersia, astilboides tabularis,
astilbes, pulmonarias, various sedges, hosta, solomon seal, ferns, false solomon seal, buttonbush-shrub, mukdenia rossii, ginger, euphorbia palustris, geum rivalis actually anything with end on palustris or rivalis/ rivularis will do great. Species geraniums will like it, Impatiens species like balfouri will do great and come back every year

Andrea, here's a link to a thread from last year. I was/am planting an area that is very wet, to the point of standing water, and I posted a very detailed post, which, thank goodness, got lots of responses, and so I had a ton of help from many people.
