OT: POTD: Another new Amaryllis for me

Good Morning.

Next wish I have ....Valentine's is coming soon...is a wireless keyboard. I will stay under the covers and have some fun lol

Today I can show you another new Amaryllis bloom of a different shape and especially color.

Amaryllis Emerald....has been blooming for at least a week already and looks prettier everyday.

I wish I could say that about me and as time goes by lol

Be kind....and you will see how shocked some people are :-)

Well sometimes it does not work...especially when it comes to the telemarketers !!! But then getting upset has not helped either.

I am so glad they do not use cellphone numbers to do that.

Hope your day will not be to bad. I mean what do you say, knowing that most of the country is freezing their butts off lol

Telemarketers, Just put them on hold for a min. and walk away. LOL

It's still cold there. Our highs are our normal lows.

I love it. Are you cross pollinating it with your other hippis?

It's still frigid here. I'm in a perpetual bad mood because of the temps. So Fl is below normal but it's about 50 degrees warmer then here and the weather service is calling for another snowstorm so I just want to get the heck away. I'm going to miss DH, Jake & Madi terribly and have never been away from them for longer the a week. Maybe DH will figure out some way to get them out of school for a few days so they can come down. At least Kyle will be with me and my best friend is going to come down for 4 or 5 days. I'm hoping that my Mom will come down as well.

well thank you my friends. I see it differently about sharing my pictures. To me it is the same thing when you do something out of love for somebody...and do not want anything for it in return...and you get *paid*. It takes that feeling of having done something from your heart...away. Same with the pictures. I find them JUST FOR YOU ALL. I change that...they loose their special feeling about them. Do you know what I mean? So...as long as there are POTD>.....they are truly just for you all Lucy

Karyn trust me, I have the same thoughts about Bambi not thanking me one day and eating it all lol. All one can do around here is HOPE they leave you SOMETHING when they get to your plants. Dorothy thank you, I needed a that hug. Siam words can not describe the pain you feel when you realize that the fur baby that only been with you for 9 years, might not make it and be with you anymore. Pam even in these bad times...I DO think about my friends here. I just hate it to unload the sadness on everyone. Day after day. I like to cheer folks up and not make them sad. Oh and YES they have been jumping the lower fence to the porch. Eating lots of goody stuff. I just tell myself that it must have been the starving mom, needing food so she can feed her baby. That thought makes it a little bit more bearable lol Barb, don't worry. I KNEW who is suppose to eat that castor bean plant rofl. But that would mean they are in the back yard and I rather keep the castor bean plant safely away from them lol Tammy no changes in food and NO questions are dumb. Especially when one is in so much pain, you might not see the hole picture. Not think of thinks others do. So thanks for caring. I do have another kitty. She is doing good. Besides the fact that SHE had a urinary track infection and that is why I did not catch on that it was Amadeus peeing in places he should not and that HE is sick. I just kept my eyes on HER. Right now I am feeding him Pedialyte mixed with Gerber Turkey baby food into a pasty mix. The only time he drinks water is in the morning when I take him outside. To the deer. I believe my neighbor must have a sign up...come deliver your bambi here. Just look at this one taken a few days ago. Mom saw me and took off. I saw them to late so Bambi laid there. Thinking it can be INVISIBLE from me lol From Pictures to share with Garden buddies Susan I am giving Amadeus so much lovin, he hides under the bed now lol I just want him to know that I love him. So THANK YOU everyone for listening to my heartache. But I hope I also shared with you that I believe that even when thinks hurt like hell, there is a reason why things happen. Like Maddy ask me on Friday what heart break is. So my best example was to say that my heart would break if Amadeus would die right now. Because he is still so young. One is NEVER ready to say good bye to someone you love. But I also told her that he would be in heaven and a better beautiful day. It was interesting that a 5 year old came up with that question in my time of sadness. It came out of the blue and made me THINK about what IF. Hugs Lucy

thanks everyone. NOW I will have a good evening. Hate going to Austin and DH and I just got back. Been on the road since noon. Maddy, Maddie...Madi...she does not care...she spells it princess roflmao Karyn but after 5 years I would be upset also if they misspell my name. Kristy we did the Pumpkin seeds...and we all love those. Just me and my love for the birds and this year I got so many more different varieties ...I fed the sunflowerheads to the birds. But then I must admit that I did not think Maddy would be here anytime soon. Good Morning Lucy...Yep, it's Malva Zebrina...Got the plants myself...I just cut it back to keep it under control..Sure has pretty flowers though. Have a great weekend everyone!!...We get to go pick out our new puppy "Ariel" (we already named her) tomorrow...She will only be 11 days old but I'm SOOO excited...I'm taking pictures...We will get to bring her home when she's 8 weeks, the beginning of November...WhooHoo!! knotz

Good morning all. Lucy, that is a pretty amaryllis! Yep, those telemarketers are the pits. Lot of times I just screen my calls or as soon as I hear their voice, I say I am not interested and hang up. Be safe everyone.

I cross..............my fingers that you will be able to FLY!!! To get away from your weather...ha ha ha you know, you will probably be the one person in all of Florida who is happy about the weather when you get there roflmao.

Eloise I can't do that...cause the phone numbers from germany do not show up and they do not wait for me to use the answering machine. Besides..I still have not programmed it ha ha ha

I did take some pollen and put it on 2 others this morning...not sure if it will still take since I waited so long :-(

Sometimes I enjoying *ucking with the telephone solicitors. I'll just start going on and on about nothing in particular until they finally hang up on me. LOL When you think about it they are just trying to do a job but boy are they annoying. Besides that could you imagine working at a job where you are rejected 99% of the time?

Karyn do they really know? most time I can barely understand them. Or they play music first and have me on hold before they even say who they are and why they are calling.

I will try that...that would be fun lol...but most just hang up :-( before I am done and ohhh...bad part is...they will call BACK

I can usually tell from caller ID if it's going to be a solicitor because they come up as 800 numbers. Most of the time I won't even answer an 800 exchange.

Kylie you got that right :-) I wish I could remember who it was that send me a whole bunch of baby amaryllis bulbs last year???? They are GROWING!!!!

Regarding telemarketers, I have something (I think is funny) to add.
This one was not a telemarketer, but a news paper where I had cancelled the subscription. They kep calling, and calling, and calling for me to sign up again.
Finally one day I just told the caller: "I don't know how to read!"
And the annoying calls stopped.

I have that one too Lucy. Its a pretty one. When the telemarketers call if its one that won't stop calling after I ask them to I tell them hold on a minute and I lay the phone down and leave it there while I go about what I was doing. One stayed on the line for 10 minutes waiting, lol.
