Good morning All.

Is it a good one for ya? Did you get up with the right foot today?

Yesterday I thought I didn't and after I dropped a seedling container. MESS. Spilling Water. MESS and much more going on. I almost did not go shopping to Lowes.

I should have known. They only had 4 really bad looking succulents on sale. But I *rescued* them anyway. Or should I say I rescued my shopping vanity? 3 days in a row shopping and NOTHING! I had to bring SOMETHING home rofl

Ihope your day will be one were you find SOMETHING special.

To me the 1 sword Bean seeds Kylie shared with me are special.

NEVER have I seen anything like that before. The color and the size!!! Wow the size. I thought oh my gosh I never get them to sprout. But it did not take long at all and the little...ehmmm..big guys are growing beautifully.

Another share that keeps me so happy and intrigued.

wow, that sure does look like one happy seedling! I am about to get mine going today from Kylie..thank you Kylie!!
Do we need to scarify the sword beans? I can't find any info saying if we need to? I have been soaking mine for 3 days.
Lucy....I think you are a shopaholic, lol. I have got to get to my Lowe's soon.

That is a healthy looking sprout Lucy!!! Mz.D just pot it up they are just like any other bean ..Wait till you see how big those seed pods get...LOL

Lucy... I, too, love your early morning photos, with the sun on the horizon. This one is particularly beautiful. I have survived the cold, and the worst is over. I will get out there shortly and get all the plants out of the garage. The western parts of the county didn't do so well. That is where many of your winter fruits and vegetables are grown. They got a pretty bad frost and are expecting the worst for many of the crops. I fear that things like green beans, sweet corn and maybe even sugar, are going to be a little more expensive this year. Deb lol, no it was after one of those rare rare rain drizzles we had last fall lol. Your eyes are ok they are just in the wrong season rofl. Barb thanks. It is not me being a good gardener. It is them being good plants and good nature to ME. Daniella I did plant some castor beans too. Since a sweet person send me some seeds. They are really growing so easy. The picture I posted a short while ago was from a sword bean. Which let me tell you. Grows a LOT faster and is huger then the castor bean leaves in the beginning lol Eloise I betcha Kylie can give us a update on how many days till spring and all of us running around ripping our hair out because there is way to much to do to find a place for all our brug babies and making them happy lol But we are SO ready ..right gang? Hey Chena, i've been really busy redesigning a succulent/tropcial nook in my yard. I added tons of soil, installed a drip irrigation system and began adding tons of succulents (I think i may have overdone it! lol). Most are very small and will take at least a year to fill in nicely. Very cool Lucy. I got some seeds for some kind of oriental green beans called yard long beans. A friend of John's gave me some and it looks like one could feed a family, lol. They were very good. Will grow some to eat next year. Planted John some cabbage and brocolli in a wading pool with holes poked in the bottom, lol. Closest thing I can manage to grow veggies right now with my allergies.

Good morning all! Never heard of sword bean before Lucy, but just googled it. That grows quickly so hopefully it won't take over your house, LOL! A great day to all.

Thats a really cool bean. I looked it up too lol. It says it is used as a vegetable in Asian cooking. So I wonder if it is stir-fried?
