Bump

I checked and both of these are also in my book...but they don't look anything like mine, in 'real life'! It does make sense though, as it does say, the plain-capped are in my area. The 'streaks by the eyes seem much wider and more visible . The snake in the Fox News story later proved to have been a Burmese Python, NOT a Boa at all. It's fairly typical for the news media and law enforcement officers to report ANY large constricting snake as "Boa Constrictor", just like any short-haired dog that bites someone automatically becomes a "pit bull" when that is reported. People just automatically associate Boas with constricting, so they assume that if the snake used constriction, it has to be a Boa. That story is a very good example of how innaccurate reports involving snakes can be.
