Recognize this Begonia cultivar?

A photo from the botanic garden in Cairns, Australia, with beautiful variegated white foliage. Anyone have any ideas what this one might be?

The one in the center is probably 'Silver Jewel' or imperialis depending on the person being asked.

I appreciate the quick id on this! Looking on the web, it looks like B. imperialis is the easier one to grow, but I wasn't able to locate any California growers for this. Anyone know of a good on-line source for B. imperialis? And does anyone have more cultivation information to add about whether B. 'Silver Jewel' is more sensitive to maintaining humidity levels consistent as compared to B. imperialis? I've generally only done well with the easier to grow cane-type Begonias outdoors, and haven't quite got it down to grow things like Begonia 'Caracol' well indoors. Rex begonias have been hit or miss for me, while species begonias such as B. sutherlandii thrive. TIA for any further information...

Unknown azalea cultivar - any ideas?

I posted this under the Rhody and Azalea Forum, but it's really dead over there. This forum gets more eyes, so perhaps someone here would recognize this? I know there are hundreds upon hundreds of azalea varieties out there. This one is evergreen. Blooms mid azalea season (it's wrapping up right now in Mid-Atlantic). It has a white to very pale lavender flower with slightly darker lavender edges. Not a harsh demarcation, though. It also has some brown speckles in the throat. It's really quite nice! Average flower size, maybe up to 2 inches. Any ideas?

Pretty good overview, bmchan. Is it yours? I would quibble with one thing, tho'. If the temperature ranges given are accurate I'd better go out and ditch all my (many) begonias. Temps 50 to 72? That's a day in January here! I feel extravagant when I turn the AC to 79, and outside it's pretty consistently in the low 90s these days, with lows in the middle 60s. Humidity so high I grow things that need terrariums indoors, just outside without any protection. Have a tiny little Buttercup in a 3" pot that's happily blooming. Can't grow tuberous here, but most everything else grows like weeds--as long as I get out there with the hose regularly!

Unfortunately there are no begonias with tendrils (that I know of). Some climbing begonias would be B. glabra, B. convolvulacea, and B. radicans plus hybrids from these. They can have aerial roots if the humidity is high enough but then a lot of begonias exhibit this behavior (as well a lot of other plants). Perhaps the seller was thinking of the rex begonia vine (Cissus discolor) which is not a begonia at all. B. convolvulacea Your vine reminds me of some kind of jasmine like Carolina jasmine (Gelsemium sempervirens) but I don't think that is it either. Hopefully if and when it blooms you will be able to ID it.
