I canNOT believe this!
On what felt like 130 degrees in the mid-morning sun in May, sam, garden trollop & I attempted to unearth this orchid tree at gt's. Was that two hours of digging or did it just feel like it? (Granted, I *mostly* watched.) The root system was massive and none of us thought there to be much hope. I don't know if the root stimulator that sam gave me did the trick but... oh my GOSH! NEW GROWTH!!! In less than three months!
I am so jazzed!!! Should I wait until spring to see if any of the old growth comes to life? Should I cut it back? Will this need protection from frost?
