Aw Ryan...you're supposed to give me IDs on the blooms!
Nope...didn't raise them, although Hannah looks rough (like mothering will do that to ya!)...she's going through a molt and is growing all sorts of new feathers. I admired Arif's parakeet photos. I wish I could have a big aviary outside!

Now...get me those IDs!

Your aphrodite looks alot lighter than mine. Beautiful blooms! Gordie looks very promising, can't wait to see the bloom.
Your parakeets are so cute!!! male parakeets can talk really well.
Yellow reminds me of sunshine and the gray one looks like cloud. Mama looks like she needs a rest!!

Wow Arif! That is some kind of dove?!? Are those just puffy feathers or is he puffing out his chest to impress a girl?? :-) I've had birds longer too...since I was a young girl.

I won't guess on the names of the others... just not up to it quite yet... still getting over some kind of flu bug... but I will say they all look very beautiful so far!

Love the birdies! I used to have a varied group of birds, myself... a long time ago. They were nice, but a lot of work. Parakeets are not one I ever had, though... yours are very pretty! And Arif's photo is lovely... what a unique bird!

But, back to bulbs. As for Aphrodites, I have had a number of different looks from my r. Some were sold to me as Double Record and Rainbow but I was assured by people on this list last year that they were all Aphrodites. Some of mine are totally white except for the thin red edge, and some have that lovely pink blushing. Others are part way between. The ones with the thin red edge on white get a tiny bit of blush but not near as much as the pink and white aphrodites do, even though they have the same conditions for growth. (Ryan, I will not be sure which cultiver you are getting since all the tags just say Aprodite on them, though I did change the tags of some with the thin red ege on white to note that.)They are all beautiful.

Most doubles except those having solid colour keep changing the colour pattern but not the shape.
