I viewed it from my other machine that only has a display setting of 1024x768, it was so small. Had to put it to a different server. I think, this looks better.

I think seeds of other petunias might have mixed in with Laura Bush, because the photo on that dark veined petunia is not Laura Bush. :-)

I should still give back all the credits to you folks! If not with the folks here, I think, I will be spending so much time on my lawn. I can't believe how addicted I was with the lawncare last year. I was really nuts!

And yes, I'm very happy with the results!!! Winter sowing rocks! An almost dead petunia after transplant shock, severed roots, transplanted on a very hot day, tortured by tornado still came back! LOL. Wintersowing really works!!! :D

very nice gardens! Do you know the name of the bugs (with green stripes) on one of your plants? I ask, because I have shasta daisies and mums that have these small holes (look like freckles) on the leaves and the only bug I see is that same one in the picture on one of your plants. It is creating damage, I think!

I'm sorry, I don't know the name of the insect. I think it's eating the leaves too.

If you haven't, you should sample the nasturtium leaves. They have a peppery bite to them and are great in salads.

Nice pics, your stella's look great. Those bugs are striped cucumber beetles and they wreak havoc through the garden by spreading disease, try to get them off those plants. You can usually squish them with your fingers but they are fast to fly too.

pvick, my wife loves the garden! She even tells her friends about it. However, she is complaining why I didn't pay attention to the lawn this year. My lawn looks very sad. I'll do something about it on August. It's just so hard to battle the various weeds that's growing north of my property. It's an open lot. I've been battling against it for 3 years now. I'm losing since I have so many weeds now in my front lawn. My neighbors love my lawn 2 years ago and last year. They said, it was like very thick carpet.

Get rid of the lawn, Ronneil. You've seen Ellen's fabulous garden. You can do something like that. Grow more trees and flowers. Lawns are too much work.
