can you translate a latvian webpage
Comments (3)The description at the bottom is roughly: Trees are life's oldest witnesses who remember the centuries, and record their memories anniversary rings - (according to this dude's book or something) "100 greatest and sacred" by the author. (Something something) materials for your were collected for nearly thirty years, and now finally it is transferred to (you, or the reader, or something). They are calling the photos "Latvia - Land of secular(?) trees" (Alberi secolari comes up in comparison) Can't use translator tool for image discriptions since they are pop ups. http://translate.google.com/#lv:en:...See MoreTranslating a Purse Into A Room & Bedding?
Comments (16)(I used to post on here somewhat back in the day, but have been lurking again as of recently.) Since you say you prefer white bedding normally, why not just go neutral in another direction, and instead of taking the beading and color of the beading for the bedding, and using the background fabric colors of the purse? Then use the floral motifs (sparingly) and the bronze color of the beads as accessories. Here's an inspiration board I whipped up to get my point across, next to the image of your purse that you posted, so you could see what I did. I picked a tan from the bedding/purse fabric as the color for the walls -- background of the inspiration board. You didn't mention if you were keeping the side tables. I put something in a distressed creamy color that you could do, if you wanted. OR, maybe a distressed black would be nice to complement your bed? Although, leaving them their natural color could also work. (Depending on what color you chose, you could always go with a creamy/off-white curtain, which would be lovely.) If you wanted to spray paint your curtain rods in a bronze, then just update the finials (with what I added to complement the beaded flower shapes in the purse) -- that could be easy to do. I added a more traditional lamp, since that's what you originally had, but I thought the Capiz shell would be fun -- in whatever way you wanted to do. The teardrop shaped lamp is cool. I like how that shell mimics the mother-of-pearl sequins in the purse. As you can see, the bedding is just something I found that would work in the direction I was going -- obviously you would need to find something close to the color that matches/complements the purse (since monitor colors vary). I liked the pillows with the beading to mimic the beading on the purse. I also like a flower pillow to mimic the shapes of some of the beads. I particularly liked the one I chose, because it has mother-of-pearl shells/buttons in the middle of the flowers. Anyway, just some thoughts to see if I could help. (If you happen to like anything on this inspiration board, I kept links for most of the things I found online, so just ask.) Comments (11)Interesting, Netla, that you mention authors of a certain class. This was very true and not only of book writers. My grandparents were put off going to a Noel Coward musical show in the 1930s because they heard there were French words used which they wouldn't have understood. I read the script when I was studying drama in the 1950s and found there was only a small amount of French in the text but the rumour would have put off a lot of theatre goers. Such a pity! They were keen theatre patrons and would have enjoyed it....See Morezeedman Zone 5 Wisconsin
