No one has a chestnut tree that is bonsaied??? the one i found is small pencil thick but looks pretty good for shape.. john

If you see them around late Sept or Oct let me know. Otherwise I can try Schumachers. I just thought if someone had a tree close to them I could get 5 or 6 acorns. I only want 2 trees for my yard and out of 6 acorns that sink in a bucket and seem viable I can get 2 trees. If I order them I'll feel like I need to plant them all! I could give them away I guess.

Thanks....but no thanks :-) I also have a large horsechestnut tree on my property and the squirrels plant the conkers everywhere!! I have horsechestnut seedlings popping up in every single container and here and there throughout the planting beds and even in the lawn. I spend a lot of time in spring pulling them up and throwing them away. I've probably pulled 20-30 already this year!

Has anyone sanded down a Pottery Barn Toscana dining table? I have the Tuscan Chestnut finish table and I'd like a lighter finish. I'm wondering if sanding down the table would be successful, given the table is a combination of hardwood and veneer. Thank you!
