Have a Clever Idea??

Kristi beat me to it with her ice cube tray, but I was taking some photos of ideas that I thought would help my Amaryllis buddies.

In the background is a wire hoop for hanging orchid baskets in trees. My friend gave me a few and I use them upside down clipping them to the edge of clay pots, the hoop helps support Amaryllis leaves.

To the left the top of a water or soda bottle cut off and setting atop the soil with the leaves pulled through the bottles neck. This helps to support small baby seedlings leaves and also limits the amount of rain getting to the soil in the rainy season.

A water bottle with the top cut off, inverted so small rooted bulbs and bulblets can keep a dry bottom while their roots dangle through the neck of the bottle in water.
