Took these on Wednesday evening...

This is where I heard/seed the earthworms at work! Joe Pye weed is just poking out of the soil at the back and I will be putting the giant Zinnia, Tithonia and Cleome towards the back too. There is also Monarda 'Garden View Scarlet', Solidago Fireworks, Maltese Cross and I transplanted a few of last years ws'n Shasta Daisy in here about 1 mo. ago and some tall ws'n marigolds a few days ago

Garlic Chives ws'n last year....WAY slow growing. So not like common Chives...

1 of 2 South facing beds...this one has Peony, Chives, Echinacea, Lanceleaf Coreopsis, Shasta Daisy, Clarkia, Snapdragon, Sedum 'Autumn Joy', Blue Flax, Aster laevis, Salvia officinalis a few Scabiosa atropurpurea that wintered over, and lots of self-sown Amaranthus, Verbena bonariensis Moss Rose, Salvia officinalis and Rose Campion seedlings. The north half of the bed is veggies: Lettuce, Raddish, Mustard, and then Tomatoes, Okra and Corn will be on the north border...
