Can't wait any longer for Tomato Germination!

I just can't!

This spring has been so cool and still May 5th I'm without seedlings! I have had to resort to bringing in the containers until germination starts at least. I've got them placed right next to the radiant space heater...that ought to jump start something :) I need to have them planted in the ground at least by May 20th...better yet the 15th, but at this rate that's just not happening! Once it starts then right back outside they go. This is exactly what I was forced to do last spring as well! This stupid Eastern WA weather just won't make up it's mind....so far we've just had 1 day at 70F and few days at 60F since beginning of spring, but for the most part it's been steady in the 40F range for the day time highs and anywhere between 36-40F for the low. Not exactly tomato germination temperatures :(

Anyone else dealing with this same issue?
