I'm running out of room to add more roses, so I'm facing a tough decision. Which would be a better rose in the Puget Sound/PNW area (zone 8, although you would't believe it based on the past couple of weeks)--Alchymist or Gloire de Dijon? I'm not too worried about a single bloom period. Fragrance and health are more important (I try not to spray, other than a little soap and baking soda on occasion.) A little blackspot occasionally really doesn't bother me, as long as the bush will recover.
Or, do I just overplant everything and go for both? ;-)
